Normally we have a really lovely experience here and the regular coffee makers and service people have been great. But, today was a different experience. My mum ordered 2 coffees, an ice coffee and a babycino from a waitress who must have been new or filling in and handed her loyalty card to her. She said my mum needed to use the app even though she paid an extra $5 for the card to be used! My mum thought she had scanned her card so she paid and when asked again if it was scanned she said "no, it's too late. You've already paid". My mum asked for a receipt and was also told it can't be reprinted. Now, we've been to other coffee clubs where they forgot to scan my card and was easily able to put the points on from my receipt that they can reprint! It's not about the number of points, it was the disappointing service. We felt like she couldn't even be bothered. And lastly, here's a picture of our babycino when I was checking to see if it's hot (lucky they're free with a purchase!). It doesn't deter us from going back as we usually love the atmosphere and service but I hope new/replacement waitresses are better trained at...

Very disappointed!! After 20+ years of visiting for my favourite coffee, this time was my last. Asked for a hot double shot flat white coffee and a piece of carrot cake. Coffee arrived but not double shot so coffee taken back with request for correct order. Coffee returned with extra shot in a little jug!!!!!. Carrot cake, precooked and sliced in display cabinet, took another ten minutes to arrive. And then later checked my receipt and found that a MERCHANT FEE/SERVICE CHARGE of 0.9c has also been charged without any prior advice being received. Also noted that the cafe, normally very busy and packed with customers at lunch time, was virtually empty with more tables being vacant than filled. Also found to my delight, a new cafe, Jamaica Blue, further down the mall so will be going there in future as their coffee was always delicious too. Bye Bye...

Thought we would give it another try after they remodelled it. So wish we hadn't.

Iced coffee was no more than a tasteless glass of milk with a shot of coffee that melted the blob of ice cream.

I asked for a new fork as the tines were bent and as I sat there with my meal getting cold I had to re ask waitress to please bring me a new fork.

I shouldn't have bothered about meal getting cold as salad was limp with uncooked sweet potato and obviously microwaved to tough chicken.

Politely carried plate to front and asked a refund. Rudely the server snatched cash from the till and slammed it into my hand. I would've prefer an option to be on card due to Covid but no.apology or options were offered.

Who knows what updates occurred during renovations? But new.staff and chef wouldve been a better option.

Avoid dining there...

I am a support worker who comes here regularly with a client as it is a convenient location. The staff give average service and the food is less than edible. Today was the last straw. I ordered eggs tomatoes and toast but asked that instead of the bread I could have mushrooms, I was charged 2$ extra. When the "food" arrived the eggs had a hard crusr over the entire egg which I had to take off to make it edible. Lucky I was hungry and didn't want to waste my 15$. My client also ordered a flat bread which was 9.90$ and was the sadest looking plate of food I've ever seen, photo posted. I will not spend another cent on anything other than coffee and a muffin again at this store or any other coffee club. At the price you charge I expect so much more and a smile.

To say that I'm disappointed is an understatement! I usually love the coffee club breakfast, but this morning I hated it! The eggs were dangerously undercooked, the whites weren't completely cooked. The eggs were so undercooked that I couldn't place them on the bread because they fell apart and through the fork. The cauliflower bites had no seasoning, batter or appeal. The chips portion sizes look good with the wide plate, but in actual fact, it's not much different than the small - except the ~$5 price difference. This morning was a waste of money and ruined our celebratory brunch after the kids' end of season game. If you're considering dining here, I would strongly discourage it.
