Farnborough Beach is just superb. It's a really nice beach in Yeppoon and it is simply gorgeous when the weather is sunny. This beach is dog friendly and a really nice place to take your dogs out for a good walk or games of fetch and to have play dates with other dogs 😁 There is always lots to do and enjoy at Farnborough Beach. A long wide curve of sand stretching from Bangalee to Sandy Point and Corio Bay. NO PERMIT REQUIRED to 4WD or sand surf. Toward the northern end is a surfing reserve with gentle consistent waves. Weekends are Skydivers land on the soft sand as families park up along the length of the beach with marquees and eskies open up for the day. Swim, Shade, Eat, REPEAT. THIS IS...

Beautiful beach this not a patrol beach and not very good for surfing. At times there is a few people fishing. There is a good play ground for the kids and BBQ area that is kept clean. Plenting of seating and tables. Toilets are ok. And out door shower is ok much quieter than main beach. Still plenty of room to walk...

Hallo, ja die Yeppoon Beach ist ein schöner und ruhiger Sandstrand. Mit Regenwald im Hintergrund und dem Ozean vor sich, kann man hier echt gut abhängen, sich sonnen, wandern und die Seele baumeln lassen. Ich war einmal hier an dem Strand, als ich vor einiger Zeit in Yeppoon war um von hier aus rüber auf Keppel Island zu fahren. Yeppoon ist ein Vorort von Rockhampton und mit dem Bus gut zu erreichen. Hier gibt es nette Cafés, freundliche Menschen und viel Sonne. Ganz nebenbei mal bemerkt, wer hier in Queensland an Stränden baden gehen will oder sich sonnen möchte als Frau... grundsätzlich ist Oben Ohne in Queensland verboten. Ob an Stadtstränden oder abseits von Ortschaften, offiziell ist es nirgends erlaubt, da ist Queensland total spießig, puritanisch und rückständig, leider. Busgelder sind hoch, wenn man von der Polizei kontrolliert wird und sie kontrollieren ab und an auch hier und da.

Love this beach good for a drive in the 4x4. Access can be tricky but usually pretty easy, can drive the beach all the way down to sandy Point which is one of my family's favourite places good shallows for little kids and clear water, fishing can be good here too. One of yeppoons best.

Great beach, drove it with highway pressures easily enough, we initially accessed it via Sandy point then went back to Farnborough to exit. Exit is a little soft and a Jeep was bogged we had to wait for, more due to operator error
