I came to the store when the boots I got at another store injured both my shins. Being a first-time skier, I didn’t know how boots are supposed to fit and, unfortunately, that other store didn’t know how to advise newbies like me. On the third day of our ski trip and wearing a second pair of boots from that store, I couldn’t walk from pain. That was when I went to Wegscheider. Thomas and the team scanned my feet, ankles and legs; they asked questions to understand my skiing level and what issues I was having with my injuries. They gave me about 4 different boots to try on, at each of them explaining how they should and shouldn’t feel, how they should and shouldn’t fit, how to put them on and how to fastened them for comfort and performance. They also taught me what I should be looking for in a beginners boot (how flexible it should be, the weight of it and so on). Even though the boot was rented, it didn’t have that awful smell (lol) and it was in top shape. More importantly, it was so comfortable that I was able to ski for two whole days without pain and without furthering my shin injuries. Besides that, you notice at the store how the staff works as a team to offer clients the best experience possible, providing you personal attention even during busy hours. Next year, both me and my boyfriend will go...

I nearly went with the default recommended ski shop from the tour company/Skiset. But then I checked the Google reviews. There's a reason this place consistently gets 5 star reviews. It's the first place I've ever rented boots/skis from where they genuinely took the time to understand bespoke requirements (e.g. big but narrow foot) and matched equipment perfectly to my needs. Christoph and team are also friendly, accommodating, funny, flexible around arrangements and also helped us to buy a couple of items needed that were right for us. They also won't sell something to you that you don't need... for example recommending that my girlfriend didn't buy the goggles they had as they weren't quite right. They won't rush you, and they'll ensure you have new, high quality gear that's right for you when it comes to rentals. Can't recommend highly enough. Christoph will fit you with what you need for the slopes all whilst making you smile...

Great customer experience at all levels. A very friendly team, willing to provide help and support from beginner to expert skiers.

We walked into the store with the family and found every piece of equipment we were missing and also did the servicing and fixing of our skis. We had the chance to try different skis and accessories in order to compare and reassess our gear. (Extra tip: here I bought the best jacket ever)

The location of the store is super convenient as it is 50m off the main lift station. Very good prices, friendly faces, active listeners with deep knowledge and expertise of outdoor sports.
