Goldkind — Restaurant in Mayrhofen

It's absolutely unbelievable what an arrogant staff is working here. When arriving the restaurant it was pretty full. So we understand that there is not a lot of time or place to help a new customer.

However there was a very big spot available on the couch at the window. So we asked if we could sit there. The way the waiter looked at us when we asked this was very unpleasant and arrogant. He asked us if we came here to drink something which of course we wanted (why else would we be here). So after the weird look we could sit at the couch.

We saw that it was very busy so of course we understand that it's hard working and it would take a while. So went to the bar to ask for a drink. Again an arrogant face and a finger to go back to our seats. We we're shocked. After a while he came to our place and I asked if we could order drinks and get the menu. He gave us the menu and walked away as fast as he could ( and again, we understand that your busy but this is not the way to handle things and your customers). After a while he came back and we could order our drinks.

Once a table came free of course we went there to sit there. Of course there where other people with one person more so he came again and we had to leave to a smaller table. No problem of course, but again the way he handled this.

We seriously felt like being in primary school and we had to sit in the corner and wait until the teacher says so.

I had the most incredible dining experience at Goldkind in Zillertal. My partner and I went there with a couple of friends and every dish we had was absolutely delicious. The food was cooked to perfection, and the flavors were outstanding. The menu is very varied and inclusive, with lots of options to fit different dietary needs.

The restaurant has a cozy and inviting ambiance, and the staff were very friendly and attentive. We were so impressed with everything that we decided to go back the next day for coffees, and now, make it a must-stop every time we go back to the area.

Stopped in for drink whilst checking out the area on our first day and the staff were very friendly and cheerful. We looked over the menu and decided to book a table for a little later for dinner. They wouldn't take the money for our drinks but said to settle up later when we ate, very trusting! As you enter the display cabinet holds many delicious looking cakes and desserts. All the food we had was good and tasty, the red wine was not the best but all other drinks very good. Seating is comfortable though is mostly around the windows so you get a good view of the main road and everyone passing by. Worth a visit but would book as not that many tables and...
