"A private lesson with the right instructor, Is an Investment" and I am fortunate to have had Shannelle as my Instructor for 2 hours. This was my 5th time snowboarding and I had just went snowboarding the weekend before. I have had two other instructors before and have been catching on pretty quick but I found that as I was getting faster I was also fighting with the mountain to control my speed. I consider myself a pretty athletic and strong guy but I am no match for any mountain. It can be very tiring and frustrating to ride this way. I watched videos, read forums and couldn't put my finger on why this was happening.

This is where SOS - "School Of Shannelle" exceeds above the rest! After Physical Training class (warmups), we moved on to the Science lecture where I learned drills to improve my balance, control and even jumping! I would have never done this or thought to do it on my own, trust me, it works! After that we moved on to the best class I have had, Physics! This is where I learned weightless turns and "The Gravity Line" she called it and though I never heard that anywhere before, it is exactly what it sounds like, It is Science and is 100 percent accurate. I was no longer fighting it, I WAS RIDING IT! Leaning forward, weight in the front, smooth turns, controlled speed and most importantly it felt effortless. I was finally, One with the mountain.

Shannelle informed me in the beginning that she would push me and if I felt uncomfortable to mention it. She did push me but the way she coached me made me want more. She gave me several compliments and I left that lesson feeling confident, resolved and proud of my riding. I was leaving behind some of the thinnest lines I have ever left behind. Exceptional Ski Lessons at Snowlines!

My experience with Snowlines ski school was absolutely first-class from start to finish! The organization beforehand was seamless - from the initial contact to the detailed coordination of all arrangements, everything was handled professionally and with a strong customer focus.

Special praise goes to my ski instructor Jakub B., who is a true talent in ski teaching! With his years of experience and excellent pedagogical skills, he managed to take me from complete beginner to confident skier within just one week. His methodology was brilliant - he had a helpful trick for every challenge that made learning significantly easier.

What makes Jakub particularly outstanding is his endless patience and motivating attitude. Even when things didn't work out immediately, he always remained calm and found new ways to encourage me. The result was impressive: after just one week, I could confidently ski red slopes - a success I never would have dreamed of at the beginning!

A little extra bonus: Jakub not only has brilliant tips for skiing but is also well-versed in the region's culinary highlights. His recommendation for an Asian soup was an absolute hit - a real insider tip for the lunch break!

Thank you Stepan and Snowlines for providing a 10/10 service in every way. Right from the start with great communication through email and WhatsApp providing all details needed and also been able to message our instructor direct the day before who responded promptly to arrange meeting. We booked 3 hours of one to one lessons for my 15 year old daughter for 3 days who had skied 5 times before but was still struggling with parallel skiing and was short of confidence and would only really ski blue runs. Your instructor, Klara was excellent, and an absolute credit to your company. She was very professional, friendly, calm and always smiling. Nothing seemed to be to much trouble, she took videos of what they learnt in the day to watch during a break, to even lending my daughter a pair of her own gloves when hers had got wet. Klara managed to teach my daughter more in 3 days than she had done in all her other lessons put together. By the end of day 3, Klara had got my daughter skiing reds and blacks with confidence. The rest of the week my daughter’s confidence has grown and she’ll take on any slope with style and confidence !! On day 4 she skied a long icey black twice because she enjoyed it so much, it has made her holiday and this is thanks to Klara.
