TLDR: Check out Prop Club Spent time here over the years.. Unfortunately the resort is mostly closed (next to an all-inclusive area that has a few guests) but the restaurant and club called Prop Club has reopened recently. Just spent the evening having some dinner and drinks there and can say it was a fantastic experience. The waiter David was friendly and funny, gave good recommendations and most importantly great service. It's a shame there isn't a Maps location yet for the club where I could leave a recommendation as I feel it's been overshadowed by other places like Rum Runners or Bones in the port that are familiar to those who are afraid of trying new things. If you're looking for some food overlooking the beach at Sunset I'd say this is a solid place.. I just wish more people could appreciate it. Thurs, Fri, Sat they have a DJ, a huge dance floor, darts, and they shuttle you from the port to the club in golf carts across the street from Neptune -- bring your friends and give it a shot.

My husband and I got a day pass so we could go to the beach here. We were on a cruise and when we went to get a taxi, this beach was recommended as being more secure than the one we really wanted to go to. It is a very nice beach and the food and drinks served on the beach were magnificent. We got the conch fritters and they were delicious. They gave us some many, we could not eat them all. The chairs were quite comfortable and the water was beautiful. We only had a few hours here but really enjoyed those few hours. The area surrounding the beach looked pretty empty for the most part. We had been here in 2015 and hardly recognized the general area. A little research revealed that is about to be redeveloped after hurricane damage.

Beautiful beach that I had the pleasure to enjoy for 10 days. Very secluded, not too many people on it every day. There are some locals who sell jet ski experiences or parasailing and banana boats. Very chilled out lovely spot but definitely bring an umbrella to keep the sun at bay! You will also have locals offer to sell you cold water or beers, it's great! Beautiful clear water, I'd love to stay here forever!

While the waters and the sands are beautiful, the overall experience is lacking. Though there is a great set of shops nearby, it's still a decent walk that gets especially hot during the summer. The beach itself is deserted along with a resort. Because of that, the beach isn't kept clear and has a bunch of seaweed. There are locals that are around trying to sell you drinks, gifts, and jet ski and banana boat rentals. I'm not really bothered by that, but I was with the carelessness of the jet ski rentals. They weren't completely mindful of where people were swimming and kids playing on the beach near where they would try and park the jet skis.

Overall, it was still a good experience; however, I would not choose to go back to that...
