As a frequent guest at Agave restaurant, I'm pretty familiar with their food. They offer a variety of latin cuisine, mixed with some local dishes. This review serves to represent the quality of food and overall experience in the restaurant. The waiters/waitresses are attentive and check on guests frequently, but not so frequently that you become annoyed. The restaurant is dimly lit over the tables, giving guests a calm feeling for the duration of their meal.
Agave offers breakfast, lunch, and dinner menus. Each giving a unique flavor. The food can be a little salty at times depending on what you order, but the taste is more or less consistent. There is also a bar on the interior and exterior of the restaurant. The prices could be cut down a bit for certain drinks, so I wouldn't say that the bar is somewhere you would spend your entire night.
As far as serving time goes, expect to wait an average of 15-25 minutes for your meal, depending on your order.
Pricing at Agave is what you would expect from a restaurant of this type and variety. You can comfortably feed two adults without breaking the bank or feeling like you've overspent.
Overall, Agave Latin Fusion Restaurant is a decent place to grab a quick meal with a loved one or small family. Don't expect to be wowed, but you'll almost definitely not leave...
Read moreIt’s ok. Really over priced, of course, but some of the staff are friendly. The worst part is that the menu doesn’t adequately or truthfully describe their dishes. The Agave mushroom stuffed chicken was disappointingly not stuffed with mushrooms, but red peppers- which were despised by the person in our party who ordered that dish; but the mashed potato side dish was really good. The “gooey grilled shrimp quesadilla” was neither gooey or had “grilled” shrimp. The shrimp in our cold cheese quesadilla were pink like they had been thawed or microwaved that way. Then there was the coconut shrimp with a lime aioli, which proved to be inedible. The shrimp was over deep fried and nearly black, and the menu gave no indication that the lime aioli was spicy. It burned and smoldered and made the experience incredibly disappointing. Not everyone needs everything to be hot. It should have said on the menu that...
Read moreTwo weeks back to back I attempted to dine at agave port Lucaya and I was completely ignored. The first occasion was a Tuesday night on the 15th of August,2023 I entered Agave Port Lucaya we weren’t greeted we had to seat our selfs. Then it was 20mins that we sat with out receiving a menu .(I had to go to the cashier for a menu)a server/waiter never came. The a young lady came to the table to bring forks and napkins.i attempted to inquire her about the Tuesday specials she cut me short by saying that they don’t have any Tuesday menus however she didn’t even give me a chance to ask her what agave had to offer. After 35 minute of being neglected a couple (Caucasian tourists) came in they were instantly greeted and seated they got menus drink almost instantly and we had yet to had someone come and ask if we wanted water.I’m was HIGHLY disappointed in the service at agave...
