De Zandloper Brugge — Restaurant in Bruges

Had several drinks to choose from on the menu. The Juniper is similar to Stella Artois, but have to say it was much more smoother. For the Hoegaarden, you wouldn't believe it's an alcoholic drink due to how sweet it is- that's a good thing for me and other drinkers who have a sweet tooth! The only thing I had a concern with is the service. The guy who helped us felt like he was rushing us to make an order and pay. We couldn't really ask much from him, and it was our first time...

Nice bar with a wide range of beers on tap and in bottle. Frisky staff that speak good English (everyone does!) Happy to help with beer choice. Not much in the way of food, but beer is food, right? For some reason Google didnt list as open, may possibly have recently changed from a bistro to a bar - either way worth a visit for a drink. Ch CK out the half moon brewery beers - it's local to Brugge, but beware the brown beer...

Unbelievably unfriendly Service! We wanted to sit down with our Family of five, after a brilliant visit at the “concert gebouw”, and the lady who served came running at us like mad shouting “no, no!” in a very unfriendly way instead of explaining to us, that guests are not allowed to extend the table (which we don’t understand apart from that!). Seems like a nice place but not with that blond old miserable...
