WOM - World Of Mind — Attraction in Brussels

The museum is nice and interesting for all ages. We really enjoyd it. Meanwhile, be aware that the 'Escape game' that is proposed to you for extra 10 EUR per person is literally a scam! In my view it should be an extra activitiy, proposed for free in addition to the musemu visit. Even with that I do not think there will be someone excited about that.... I have to explain: for 10 eur per person you receive at the entrance a bag with a cube and a pocket lamp inside (if you are 6, you pay 60 eur in total and receive the same bag) The so called 'escape game' is happening in the area of the museum, not in a dedicated space. I.e. you are sitting in a corner of a room full of other museum visitors, scaning QR codes on the wall, reading guidelines on your phone and trying to understand what is funny and exciting in this boring activity. The tasks of the game are boring and very difficult, after doing 4 we abandoned and left the musem. If you are buying tickets at the reception, kind staff there may explain you how 'exciting' this game is, so you won't take it. But if you are buying tickets online, you have...

My daughter and I went here as we were that side of the city and wanted to try something different.

Clearly this is set up as a temporary exhibition and seems "thrown together" in terms of the illusions that are present.

But it does flow nicely from one room to the other and the illusions that you can interact with are fantastic.

It's not a long event, maybe an hour or so, and is aimed at young families as a main audience.

Keep your expectations low and you'll enjoy it. Expect to go in there and have your mind blown and you may be disappointed.

As an adult I'd seen most of the illusions before but my daughter (aged 11) found a lot of them to be new...

Was good but there wasn't much different to the museum of illusions also in brussels so not worth doing both - this one is further out from central so better to drive but also surrounded by other exhibitions so good if doing 2 things I think. I bought something from the gift shop but got home and a part is missing, waiting to hear back from someone because its a long way to go out of town to get a replacement or refund so am still debating the stars...
