Dijlepark — Attraction in Leuven

What is supposed to be a hidden / romantic / peaceful park is actually rather dirty and poorly kept.

The water of the pond is filthy and littered with trash, the plants around it suffer or die. The grass isn’t homogenous with too many bald / muddy spots.

Not a single flower to be observed even though I visited it during peak springtime. Come on Leuven, you can do...

It's a small park, it's publicly accessible and it looks nice. Do people honestly look up reviews for small public parks? Oh well: The frogs can be pretty loud at times though. Just in case people read this for their research before deciding they'd like to have their romantic picnic here or before they come here to read a book expecting silence or...

Really beautiful small park, it has a very old picturesque bridge in a bow going over the pond, in spring it is a breeding spot for frogs. Throughout spring and summer it is an amazing spot for picnics, it is right in the center of Leuven, but it feels like you are in nature and the business from the city flows away...
