Parc Boverie — Attraction in Liège

Magnificent parc on a island in the river Meuse with a childrens corner, an outside fitness, 2 rowingclubs, la Boverie museum and sandwich bar, a Van der valk 4 star hotel with a wonderful pool, the congress centre, a rose garden and a park garden. At sunny days the lawn is full of people. The island is connected by a beautiful modern walking bridge to the central station Guillemins. Also it has a boat stop every hour (not during the winter). Nice park on an island in the Meuse river. Beautiful layout with some ponds, lots of tulips and flowerbearing bushes in between spaciously placed trees giving some shade. Easy access by bike or on foot, super close to the train station. Has a small children's playground and a calisthenics workout spot. And has a very nice museum in the center of the park.
