Ostend Beach Festival: 12+13+14 July 2024 — Attraction in Ostend

We visited this festival multiple times in the last years and the quality/price ratio gets gradually worse. The festival itself is quite nice with good vibes and you can have a nice time. However, there are some things to complain. The toilet costs around 4€, so you can pee in a dirty dixi toilet. A bottle of water (0.3L) also costs 4€. There was about 30 degrees outside, which makes this price an audacity. In addition, it was announced online from the festival that there would be free water. The staff could not give us any info about where this free water would be. Also two of my friends wrote to the online support and there was no answer. There is also a no waste police which I support, although there are better ways to do it. You have to pay 1€ for the cups. When we wanted to exchange our cups and the ones of our friends which left earlier, it was not possible. There is only a limited number of cups you can return per bought drinks. This was ridiculous. Also when you want to refund your money, you have to pay an exchange fee of 4€. I spent over 50€ for one day and I did not even drink alcohol. Par contre beaucoup trop cher ! Payer 2,50€ pour les toilettes, casier payant, sachant le prix des billets, le prix des boissons, cela me parait déjà bien assez ! OstendBeach2022 Personnel pas très commode, nous avons croisée des amis qui repartais, nous on donne leur bracelet toilette, donc noué à nos poignets, mon ami voulant aller au toilette, la dame devant les toilettes a pris violemment le bras de mon ami pour ensuite lui arracher le bracelet et ne voulant pas le laisser passer pour s’y rendre, nous expliquons donc la situation que cela viens de nos amis et elle n’a même pas chercher à nous écouter, et nous a poussé en disant qu’il fallait payer 2,50€. Honteux !

Et les personnes qui parle presque pas français.. difficile à se faire...

Tof festival! Tweede jaar op rij met VIP-ticket op zaterdag. Deze editie was het VIP-gedeelte zijn geld zeker niet waard. 150€ betaald voor een ticket waar dan 13,5 Shells inbegrepen zijn die je kan spenderen aan één of ander veredeld hamburgerkraam waar je dan een Bicky burger, pak friet met stoofvlees of boulet kan bestellen. Bij momenten dan ook nog eens een lange wachttijd. (45min) Vip-ruimte zelf was ok, maar dit jaar zelfs niet één stoeltje te vinden buiten de vip-boxen. Was zijn geld echt niet waard. Volgend jaar misschien terug met normaal ticket, maar dit heeft toch een wrange nasmaak nagelaten en dan heb ik het niet over de...
