EditedWe went here while In port during our cruise. I had an excellent time with my son years ago in Mexico at Dolphin Discovery. However, we just did the platform experience. This time I tried to up it by letting them swim with the dolphins for a different experience. It was not what I expected. I also paid for the picture package as we had nobody with us to get photos. The photos were horrible. Looks like they just had a random employee taking pictures. We barely had any time with the dolphins. It was not a free swim. It was more, floating with the dolphins. We had a much better experience at Dolphin Discovery. This place was a bit disappointing. Will not ever go back without a big incentive. Dolphin Discovery, I'd love to go back to. If you have never don't it before, you might say it was ok and fun, but having done a dolphin encounter previously, this was sub-par. ***Update10/1/24....After reading my review here, Dolphin Quest did contact me via email to let me know they reviewed my photos and agreed they were sub par and stated that the photographer was new. They did give me a full refund for the photos which I did not ask for, so I will commend them for that. Had we had more time in port, I would have addressed my displeasure during that time, but due to my ship leaving port early due to an incoming hurricane, I was unable to. They did tell me had I done so, they would have given me an option to try and reshoot some photos or come to some other agreement. Since they have gone above what I expected and to not hurt their business with my one time experience, I am changing my rating from 1 star to 3 stars because of their...

My sister, 14 year old nephew, and I had the opportunity to experience this amazing excursion on 7/10/2025 during our Carnival Sunshine cruise to Bermuda and it did not disappoint at all. We learned about the organization and their "quest" to protect marine animals and their environments by providing the public with education and learning experiences. Our trainer and intern were fun and very helpful during the entire experience we had. While you don't actually "swim" with the dolphins, you get in their natural lagoon and interact with them in many forms. From watching them under the water in front of you perform maneuvers based on the signals given to individual interactions with them all while in the deep area of the lagoon in a group of no more than six participants you get an unforgettable experience with memories for a lifetime. You can hold hands with them, rub their belly or back, touch them gently in acceptable areas of their bodies, hold their head in you hands, splash and play with them, so just because you don't literally "swim" with them you still spend your time of about 30 minutes in the water enjoying the interactions between you and them. They have a photographer dedicated to each group that takes over 100 photos of your group's interaction with the dolphins. You are able to view all the photos and purchase printed versions or download options are available also. We had the pleasure of interacting with sisters Juniper "Juni" and Devon, and even with their shyness we still had a great time and experience that already has us wanting to return to...

I couldn’t possibly say enough marvelous things about Lindsay or Zoey, they are truly phenomenal in every way.

Lindsay was working in the shop. She really pushed to ensure my family and I had the best experience we could possibly have. She was professional, accommodating, knowledgeable, dedicated, caring, kind, and personable. She was simply a genuinely wonderful person, and is truly the face of Dolphin Quest. We wouldn’t have had the experience we did if it weren’t for her.

Zoey was the most incredible trainer you could imagine. She is GREAT with children (and adults). She is knowledgeable, accommodating, personable, dedicated, and as sweet as they come. I also love how important safety and happiness (of both the customer and the dolphin) is to her.

The manager (I don’t know her name) is also great!

Oh, and the establishment is INCREDIBLE! It’s clean, beautiful, and well-worth the price ESPECIALLY IF YOU HAVE CHILDREN! There’s a REALLY cool children’s museum, a museum for folks of all ages, and a pretty rad playground. I also love that you can buy tickets just to watch the dolphins if you don’t have the money to...

Dolphin Quest was AMAZING!! I was in heaven just being that close to these beautiful dolphins. They were extremely well cared for and so happy. The trainers were very informative about the lifestyles of the dolphins and also reassured us that they do in fact get to enjoy the open ocean. Don't judge this place until you experience it. They don't force the dolphins to do anything, they allow them to choose. I got to hug one of the dolphins and she was just so peaceful. If you have been wanting to do this, please, just spend the money and go!! It was so worth it. The groups remain smaller, not like other facilities so you get to spend actual time with the dolphins. Also, make sure you go look at your pictures when you're done, it might surprise you 😊
