*** WARNING *** great food terrible service! If you are a foreigner (aka, visit by cruise ship or not from the area) you will not get the same friendly service as a local. The young lady at the counter, was nice and informed me to sit any where and the waitress would assist me. The waitress was short, wore a nose ring and has long black silky hair. I was offered only still water and sparkling water. Without any prior information... i proceed to order my meal. The waitress brings 1 liter of water in a glass bottle ($7) with a glass of ice, which was made from tap water. I poured my own water. There were two group of local folks getting served as well. They didn't get the same bottle, instead they recieved glasses of water with lemon. My food comes out shortly after. This time by some guy from the back. I asked him why they get water in a glass instead of a bottle. Before he could answer the waitress asks what's wrong. (I then repeat the question) she then explains why she only offer sparkling and still water to foreigners. She withheld this key information in the beginning and still gave me water with locally made ice cubes! Like what else am I missing? Is there a local menu vs foreigner menu? Are there other hidden gems at this location? I will not dine here again. I suggest save your money and go to Frog & Onion Pub and Restaurant.

We had such high hopes going to this restaurant based on other reviews. The music was so loud in the dining area that you could not even hear your server. He tried to lower the music but the owner raised it back up. The food we ordered was also very disappointing. The fish plate looked great but when you started to eat it, it was so salty that you needed 4 glasses of water just to clear your throat from the excess salt. The chicken my wife ordered was also dry. We had such high hopes but so very disappointed with the owner for not listening to customers about the loud music and the dishes we ordered. Even other diners asked to lower down the music. I thought it was just us. We will definitely tell our friends not to go here and save your money and eardrums and taste bud unless you like loud places with very salty and dry dishes.

We only had one dinner in Bermuda, and we're so glad we went to the Anchor restaurant! Our server Jay was an absolute Allstar, as she was so friendly, professional and fast at service. We ended up having the sushi, and omg was that incredible! Chef Marco made us some spectacular rolls, that were so fresh and delicious. The manager William and his team were also so welcoming, and made us feel part of their family. Our waiter Jovi was also very attentive, as he went above and beyond to ensure that we had a great dinning experience. The food was spectacular, the atmosphere was awesome, but more importantly, the staff was truly dedicated throughout the entire evening!

Recently went on a Cruise to Bermuda out of Boston, our first night in the city we asked our cab driver to take us somewhere local and had good food, he took us to a place that when we got dropped off was in the process of closing and not serving food, disappointed we hailed another cab and told him our sad story and just asked to be brought back to the boat. The very kind gentleman asked if he could suggest somewhere to bring us as he knew the owner and said we'd be in good hands. We obliged and were brought to the Anchor. The owner Maz turned our whole night right around, not only was the food AMAZING but the craft drinks were phenomenal. We ended up going back the next day for lunch, and the day after that for breakfast. The food NEVER disappointed and neither did the atmosphere. The staff was professional, friendly and courteous. Every day we were greeted and was given the best Service on the island! If you have a chance to check this place out I HIGHLY Recommend it. You will NOT be disappointed! Thank You to Maz and the staff for making our experience in Bermuda so much...

So far, best meal we have had in Bermuda! Loved the food. We did take-out as the kids were exhausted. We started with fish balls and conch fritters. The balls were good, but the fritters were the best I have ever had! I order these often and WOWE! We ordered the Bermuda Triangle: Shrimp were outstanding, Wahoo was great, and the scallops were super fresh but slightly overcooked. Roasted potatoes topped off the meal. The Creamy Chicken Breast in Spinach and parm was also crazy delicious. My daughter hoovered the entire thing and continuously exclaimed that it was one of the best meals she has had. The spicy salmon maki was super fresh, well prepared and VERY tasty. we topped it all off with mashed potatoes and a slaw side. Super great meal and still hot by the time we got back to the room.

Allergy note: My son is Gluten Free and they were super careful about anything with gluten in it. The young lady who took our order was so pleasant and helpful. Highly reccommend and...
