Tobacco Bay in St. Georges, Bermuda is one of the most popular beaches on the island. In the summer it is full of activities - beachside pool table, Crown and Anchor board, bar, restaurant, live DJ and other games. There are bathroom and changing facilities. Perfect location for snorkeling and has some amazing natural rock formations. Take a a stroll along the road to the back of the main beach for more awesome sights. The beach is close to Fort St. Catherine, golf courses and the newest hotel just recently built asking side Fort St. Catherine Beach. I took these photos on a hot, winter off- season day. Also the beach is within picturesque walking distance from the Town...

Such a nice beach to visit. If you don't mind walking, it's a great walk from St. George's to Tobacco Bay. It does go uphill so you have to be able to make that walk but the views are outstanding. In my opinion, bring your own water and snacks. The food is overpriced because it's the only place there to get anything. You can rent chairs and umbrellas but it's not necessary. We put our stuff on the beach and just went in the water. There is no admission cost and you could easily spend a day there. Don't forget to walk around the building to get some pretty amazing views. There are restrooms and showers you can use if you need to change. Highly recommend...
