The observation deck itself is not large. There is one spacious bench. However, the view is simply wonderful. It opens up to a part of the lake near the hotel, on the right if you look from the deck. The left part, the one towards the mountains, is obscured by trees. Do not expect a panoramic view. The road up the mountain is of medium difficulty. It can cause heart palpitations and shortness of breath. Consider this if you are climbing with children. There are no dangerous or impassable sections, it will just be longer and more difficult than for adults. Have a good climb and journey to Banff NationalPark!

Beautiful hike! But it is Uphill! Some times is very steep and very hard to climb! But the scenery is worth the sacrifice! I totally recommend doing it! Although it isn’t very friendly for elderly people and for disabled, unfortunately.

Great view of the lake. It is a little steep, but doable for someone who doesn't hike much. I did the loop but the portion going down to the lake is not maintained and is more difficult in areas.

This place is worth visiting, but there are too many mosquitos on the way. It almost feels like Everglades national park if you know what I mean. I was surrounded by mosquitos and I did not get to soak in the beautiful scenery on the top because I have to get down as fast as possible. Please remember to wear long sleeves and bring...
