This rather isolated park is being linked up with the Central Valley Greenway/Brunette-Fraser Regional Greenway and the BC Parkway. This new route is flat compared to the old route through East Columbia Street. \

The new connection is a work in progress by MetroVancouver and is part of the pumping station replacement project.
