Burlington Lakeshore — Attraction in Burlington

Incredible view. Helped me to relax. I don’t mind driving half an hour the restaurant near the lakeshore, there play ground for kids with water splash. If you need to use a washroom you better go to the restaurant because the one in the lakeshore is always dirty. Bring with you chair because it is one of the most pleasant places I went. For the most part this is a wheelchair accessible area. There is a ramp for the outdoor WC bathroom but no buttons to open the WC accessible door making it difficult getting in and out of there. The beach has a ramp to get down but the bollards are blocking the ramp for wheelchairs. Lots of pay parking lots around. Unfortunately lots of litter. Nice lake views and mutli use trails. The lovely Burlington Beach is quite spectacular and not well known. Thankfully. To be fair though Burlington deserves great credit for the care and beauty and really importantly the easy access. It's a gem. The water is clean and checked daily. The sand is groomed every day. The snack hut is great too. It's a part of a scientific study as it's a long and deep dune with rare wild plants.
