Nice and wide open. Sort of strange that there's nothing in the middle... It's just sort of there. I'm sure there's events sometimes, but while I was there it was empty. The benches surrounding the park are well built with minimal graffiti, but there's no backs on them!
I'm disabled and found it very uncomfortable to not be able to sit back and enjoy the sunshine.
Someone brought their dog and began throwing a frisbee off leash. There's NO signage saying not to do that.
There was a baby learning to walk, some people sitting on the grass having a picnic and an older couple walking the sidewalk circle. This dog (no matter how well behaved) could've had an issue -- been scared or had some other issue-- and it would've been a large issue.
I recommend signage is posted. I felt uncomfortable.
The sidewalk was perfectly smooth and so there were a lot of e-scooters around there practicing...
Read moreNice little park in the summer but it’s main purpose is the skating rink in the centre. Benches are made for skaters to put on skates and rest or watch your kids while they skate. Looks a bit odd in the summer months but I think most people can tell it’s a rink. The art is unique, not my thing but I’m sure it’s someone’s style. The historical building next to it is very nice , I would have thought an art piece that favours history would have been more appropriate but al in all a vary nice...
