Amazing place for me to train my skills in Parkour, with the sport being so welcome in the area it's a really positive place to be during the day time. I don't recommend being there after nightfall however, as good as it is in the day it is sketchy at night time, drug deals are known to be common in the area as well as being swarming with cops at night, not the most fun. With that all said Century Gardens has become a Parkour Hub in Calgary if you are lucky and happen to walk by you may be able to see some live parkour happening, people expressing themselves through movement and freedom among their environment. I have never been harassed there. The only issue I have is that it’s July 9th 2022 and it’s not turned on. The website has no info and when I called 311 they couldn’t tell me anything either.
