Absolutely phenomenal in every possible aspect. Staff are incredibly friendly and helpful, prices are very fair (plus they have a morning and night matinee price of $11 before noon and after 9pm) as well as benefits for buying a pass such as free access to all their classes and cooldown/stretching sessions, as well as the ability to bring a friend who hasn't been for free once per month. They maintain their holds very well, they are never slick or slimy, new routes are set each week on one of their 10ish walls and the holds are always fresh when they go up. They use an actual recognized rating system (V/Vermin Scale) and have routes for any skill level, from VB to V12+, from dynamic moves to slab to crimps and everything in between, they have a moon board circuit wall, multiple hangboard as well as exercise and stretching equipment as well as a shower so you can stop in on your lunch break without your coworkers hating you for it. I also believe tuesday morning they have a playpen set up for toddlers and such. Dont know much about that though as I do not have children, but they definitely welcome you to bring them. They have great food, craft beer and incredible coffee as well. Props to the Bolder owners and staff for running what is undeniably the best place to boulder in...

This place is super cool. Staff helped me and my dad with the waiver which took 2 minutes. We paid for a day pass + climbing shoes for each of us. We got changed in the bathroom which has a shower + changing section. A little tight but understandable. There are lockers inside too. I kept my wallet and any other valuables inside but not necessary, this place was really safe and proper. People leaving phones whenever and no one doing anything inappropriate.
The climbing was really fun. Super easy and chill to find a spot and go for it. The system involves taking turns while you are waiting/taking a break to recover. tons of nice and chill people all around to help with any questions. The back corner also has a small gym section for building your grip strength and finger strength. That was fun to see people doing all kinds of craziness in that corner.
I love this place and I will...
Read moreWow what a fun gym!!! The facility is really eye catching, there's a coffee bar available, the loft upstairs is ideal for gatherings, the workout area is a reasonable size, the change rooms were clean. The best part was of course the climbing. The walls had a great variety of features with more slab available than I've ever seen in a bouldering gym, plenty of overhanging and multiple walls with varying angles and features. The volumes were used well and had solid texture. The setting was really fun! I've never been to a gym with so much pressing... the setters really forced you to be creative with your whole body rather than just maximizing your crimping. And finally - their climbing training area was wicked. They have system boards and campus boards and a fully loaded 45.... plus you could connect with an app to create your own training problem and the lights under selected holds would glow on the wall.
