Extremely disappointed with the service my friends and I received here on Tuesday. We are regulars here and typically go twice a week. The service lately has gone down immensely however we have still been going as the food is fantastic... Not sure if we will return after our last visit however. While waiting in line to order our food there was only 2 people ahead of us so it was not busy like it typically is. The server (Fernanda) came over to take my order, which I gave her. She then proceeded to walk away and disappeared for a couple mins. Once she was in sight again she was on the phone and you could see her preparing/packaging up what I assume to be an order. When she returned she then started preparing my order. She only did the tortillas and the meat before she walked away again (I just got some tacos). This time I watched her go around to the outside of the line where someone was standing and waiting for her. She chatted with them for a bit then went back to work. She prepared food for them and came around again to give it to them. In this time the other lady (who was very nice by the way) has finished helping me and has now finally started my friends orders. By the time Fernanda came back over to me so that I could actually pay my food, it had been sitting on the counter for 10 mins and was quite cold. I told her my food was cold now and she responded in quite a sassy tone "well I can make another one for you if you need." At this point I was not happy and just wanted to get out of there. My friends were also still waiting on their food. Some of which hadnt even had ordered yet.

I am not sure if Fernanda let the people budge us because she knows them or because of how we looked but unfortunately that is definitely how we left feeling considering who "budged" us... We are hoping the male crew will be back soon as they were all so friendly...

I went there today after long time and honestly horrible I went to cashier and no one welcomed and looked at me wrong I work in customer service I don’t like to complain but needs to improve even manager was there he didn’t care didn’t say sorry cashier didn’t say I will help who’s next I said have a good day mumble something in between teeth I Said what went away so is this how going treat customers judging on appearance and looks and follow me. To door when I left I paid my stuff and I wasn’t dressed in no way formal or nothing wrong but u cannot judge a customer how they look how they act or talk I speak Spanish too I’ve always come with my family and never happened you need to train your staff look nice to you’re customers no dirty look eyes and posture say it all negative and honestly. I never felt more un welcomed before here I never wanna complain but I’ll speak to some one else if this isn’t improved great everyone the same I waited in line for while no assistance dirty look speaking between eachother not profesional I speak in English but understand Spanish speak too so pls don’t do that be profesional and not rude service needs to improve 100 % other wise lots of. People won’t come I don’t like to complain I just felt un welcomed un safe and very unprofessional on ur staff … pls consider my comment and fix it thanks I hope customer service improve more and store more friendly to come to cooks are amazing and coffee shop no issues just cashiers today afternoon gentlemen’s there and manager I won’t go back if I can shop nice and enjoy it there thank u I love the items you have from many country but prices a bit high I know there inflation but pls don’t go to expansive just consider it we don’t have to many Latino places here Calgary I’m glad u guys are one I would like to be feeling happier leaving the...

UPDATE: I came here with my wife for lunch. We got the Carne Asada, Spicy Beef, Chorizo, and Al Pastor tacos. The Carne Asada was very good. The meat has good flavor, avoiding the muddle flavor some places seem to be stick with.

My buddy invited me to have a meal at Unimarket. He raved about this place and I trusted his opinion.

We lined up, and unfortunately, they were out of a lot of taco choices. I went with the only 3 meats left: Spicy Chicken Taco, Pulled Pork Taco, and Chorizo Taco. I am not sure if 6 pm was considered late for food, but the seating area was pretty quiet. I would try to come for lunch or earlier next time.

The 3 tacos were very flavorful and worthy of a revisit. None of them felt dry. of the 3, I liked the Chorizo Taco the best. The Spicy Chicken was plenty moist, though not that spicy to me.

I got the Papas Fritas, aka French Fries, and they were decent fries - crispy on the outside and tender on the inside.

I washed it all down with a meixcan coke. I can't tell the difference, to be honest.

My friend got the Colombian Bowl, which looked pretty delicious. He confirmed that it tasted excellent.

I would definitely come back to try out...
