The Calgary Zoo Prehistoric Park Bridge is what I would say is just short of an architectural work of art. The bridgeâs design appears to be a modern take on a classic cable-stayed bridge with some flares. It combines steel beams and cables with a wooden plank decking and roof, which almost gives the bridge an âopen tunnelâ feeling. Furthermore, the roofing of the bridge twists as you walk across the bridge, which really adds to the experience. The only downfall of the bridge is that a lot of the viewing of and from the bridge is obscured by excessive chain-link fencing. Understandably, itâs for safety, but it does take away from the overall grandeur.    Read moreThis is a review for the zoo. With Covid there are extra checks for safety. The animals have no clue whats going on other than we all look funny. The penguin exhibit is a must. Not a lot of spots for food but there are a couple. If you have a wedding, they have spots for rent for thia purpose. Visit the butterfly pavilion but be prepared to sweat due to humidity.
