Laser City South Calgary — Attraction in Calgary

// An Overall Summary of Most Experiences

To Parents that celebrated their daughter/son birthday at Laser City South, with the visit/birthday package, it consistently met the satisfaction they were seeking. The moment they enter the building, they are greeted with a welcoming introduction, ensuring that every detail was taken care of for a flawless party experience. The arena is complex, with numerous challenging obstacles and an immersive gaming environment that constantly kept all the kids engaged and entertained. The games are well-organized, allowing kids of all skill levels to participate and have fun. With birthday packages, the staff provide everything. The staff constantly strive to go above and beyond to make any kid’s birthday memorable.

// Staff

The staff in here at Laser City South are absolutely terrific behind the desk. With their newly revamped desk, they are able to make many more things possible. (new arcade prizes when??) during game time, they maintain the arena adequately during the day and during closure time. They are a kind group of people that are willing to overcome through any situation that comes along their path. (New staff!??)

// Parties

Of course, as a former long term customer. Parties happen here at Laser City nearly every day! There will consistently be kids ranging 5 - 14 taking on their daily missions during the day, I must say however. The excessive noise kids create can become annoying at times but that is only a mere sign they are enjoying the party.

The institution charges for parties at a fair price for 2 hours per table and delivers excellent service to any group/birthday parties. I strongly recommend for any parent looking to host an stress-free, fun, enduring party at a very reasonable price point! (Visit the website for more information)

// Rules

These are simple to follow, but easy to break. It’s essential for newcomers to acknowledge the potential risks of full-dashing in the arena as it can lead to severe injuries or equipment damage (you do not want to know the price tag of those things..)

// Arena

The arena itself is maze like, containing 2 floors with many complex angles/corners to play around. for new players, this may come as a challenge or difficult or confusing to navigate for the first time. With this kept in mind, kids are the most susceptible to vulnerability in the arena and can easily be overwhelmed with the sheer chaos happening in the arena. However, this can be taken care of by the staff as they are terrific at supporting the kids in need during the ongoing battle. I have seen parents escorting their kids which can be another solution.

// The Lobby

The lobby looks a little more different than a few months ago! The staff have a new desk which provides a much more modern look compared to a few months ago.

The same goes, without booking a party table, there are limited seats/tables during peak hours (Saturday/Friday). In the lobby, there are numerous arcade machines ranging from Basketball, to Shooters. (apparently they’re getting new machines too!) Including that, there is a viewing area which provides minimal view of the arena. Which has been the same always. The Washrooms are consistently kept in great condition throughout the...

A special shoutout is deserved for Guilherme, one of the standout staff members who truly elevated our visit. Guilherme not only assisted in organizing the event but also actively engaged with the kids, offering tips, tricks, and encouragement that enhanced the gameplay experience.

Overall, our experience at Laser City was nothing short of phenomenal. From the gameplay to the staff, every aspect exceeded our expectations. I highly recommend this venue for anyone looking to celebrate a special occasion or simply visiting to have fun. My kids attended Laser Tag day camp last month and had a lot of fun. So I wasn’t surprised when my son told me that he wanted to celebrate his birthday at Laser City. We booked a birthday party for 16 kids. It included 4 - 1.6 L bottles of pop or water, plates, cups, spoons and napkins. You can bring your own food and cake. They have a fridge and freezer that you can use. For decorations you cannot hang anything on the walls, but I brought fun tablecloths and helium balloons. The tables are a bright green, so I could’ve gone without my table cloths. I want to praise Laser City for their excellent customer service!! Special thanks to Maria Giannakos for her patience and kindness with the kids. Also, there was a young man who could speak Spanish (I forgot to ask his name) He was phenomenal during the check-in process!! He was very friendly and accommodating. Even though it was a busy night, the staff was very well organized and did everything so smoothly. My son loved his birthday party and all of our guests had a lot of fun. I will definitely book again for future birthday parties at this location, and I will recommend it...
