I have received a couple of requests from Taco Time to leave a review. The first one I sent to their corporate office and never received a response, so here is what I sent to them previously Maybe they'll read it this time:
I honestly can’t believe you want me to submit a review for my recent experience with TacoTime Bonaventure. Let me review: -Place and pay for online order -Drive to the restaurant only to find it’s closed due to renovations. No one can help me! I call the main line and leave a message for the district manager to call me (Leo) -Drive to the next closest TacoTime in Midnapore. More of my time and my gas! -Owner/operator from the Bonaventure store called while I was at the other restaurant to offer an apology, but really no help to resolve anything! -Call on Monday (after the weekend) to talk to someone. Once again leave a message for the district manager to call. NO CALL BACK from this individual. -Call back again and speak to Steve in operations. After speaking to him, he finds the issue and tells me they will get it fixed. -Wait for refund to come in. No refund after a couple of day. Contact Steve and he said it should come soon! After a couple of days, the refund finally comes through on my credit card.
I have never been treated so poorly by any other fast food restaurant chain in my life. You wasted my time and gas driving from location to location and to this day have never heard from this district manager. Just about every other restaurant would have been alarmed at what had happened and would have not only made sure I received the money owed promptly but would have made sure my order at the other restaurant was paid for. After all, you wasted my time and gas.
If your head office was in located in another city, I would have tried to contact someone else; however, because it’s in Calgary I know not much would have been done.
So do you really want me to submit a review? You honestly have...
Read moreThe worst Taco Time in the city, staff are incapable of making menu items as described in the menu and on Google. They aren't sure to make the crispy beef burrito which includes cheese and he tried to tell me it didn't. For example I've ordered this menu item many times and have seen the prep process as it's made per order not made 3 days in advance like the employee tried to tell me , eww 🤢 burrito was ice cold and they didn't cook it long enough in the deep fryer. Plus I got confirmation from other Taco times that the way the crispy burrito is prepared is you add the beef you add extra cheese and then you deep fry it the cheese is no longer in the burrito shell. It's not a 3-day process which is ridiculous. Had to come back for a refund no wonder all of my previous co-workers avoided this place at all costs because they told me it made them sick and now I can see why at 4:00 pm there's no traffic here in the Drive-Thru for a Saturday come on! Go somewhere else! Staff need more training on menu items. Go to...
Read moreAlthough I love Taco Time and usually get good service, I am giving the service here a big fat 0 because the managers at these stores close them at 7-8pm!! Clearly they don't want to make money, because they must have some idea how many people would come through their drive thru in the evening - especially on the WEEKEND, after a movie or even after the bar - and yet they choose to close their doors. It's like they are desperate to not make money, and I don't get why. I always thought that's why people went into business was to make money, but I must be wrong. They want to give all their business to crappy Taco Bell - at least THEY have enough sense to stay open late on the weekend. The Taco Time in the small town of 8000 people I used to live in, just a couple of hours away, closed at 10pm. But yet here in Calgary, a city of a million people, you're hard-pressed to find one open after 8pm on the weekend! I just can't wrap my mind around how little...
