My kid’s preschool booked a guided tour through this beautiful community garden today, it’s a wonderful field trip spot for any age group.
The guide managed to capture the interest of the young kids wonderfully, while educating them on pollinators and various plants. The gardens themselves are beautifully kept by the community and staff.
There’s plenty of parking directly beside, but more importantly the park is accessible by bike and Skytrain. The lake made for a great walk for wildlife spotting before-hand. Washrooms are a short stroll away.

The Mason Bee House is extraordinary and instructive in its attention to detail with an excellent write up about the Blue Orchard Mason Bee (Osmia lignaria). And the living bee art "Bumble bee-on-echinacea flower" takes your breathe away!
