Forty years ago this was THE park in the district.
Long before the Town Center was even a glimmer in Lou Sekora's mind Glen park was the only place to be on a summer evening or a weekend.
Those who were here in the eighties will remember lineups just to get into the outdoor swimming pool, sadly, the pool was taken out over three decades ago. My two girls got their swimming lessons in Glen Pool.
Now? It's just a place you walk through on the way to Skytrain or the Mall.
