Lookout Park — Attraction in District Municipality of Muskoka

This is just a tiny little park, so I wouldn't say it's really a tourist must-see. I would only really stop here if you were staying in the area with kids and wanted to visit different playground.

There is a lookout, yes, but I would only recommend it if you're a big fan of the steamships. If you go down the stairs you can technically sit on the rocks I suppose, but it's a tiny area and is a bit unfriendly due to the construction of a giant building on the left and the no trespassing signs on the right.

So yes, it's really just the playground...

Beautiful view, I love to sit or lay out on the rocks down below the lookout. There is a trail there but I find it has quite a bit of overgrowth. Once you get out of the trees it's beautiful. The lookout portion is wonderfully accessible you can drive right up and you dont really even need to get out of your car if you dont want to. There is also parking for a couple cars just below the lookout as well as a small parkette with a few pieces of equipment...

Nice little lookout over the bay and nice little park for the kids to play at. If you visit the lookout though don't walk down the stairs because it just leads to a couple of private properties that are posted at the bottom but not at the top...
