Great idea and well presenred by the staff on the glacier, however the manager was the rudest person I met in the whole of Canada. We were booked for a 1pm tour according to the tickets downloaded from THEIR website, we stood around until 1.15 then when we asked What was going on no-one could answer. This so called manager came over looked at the tickets and said there is no 1pm tour!!!!!........ no apology......nothing. then when i said they are your tickets she snapped and said " IF YOU'LL LET ME SPEAK " you can go on the next tour. What an obnoxious woman, spoilt the whole expreience and made me wish i had never booked it. On reflection (with a sour taste in my mouth) it was overpriced for what it was and the glass observatory they take you too aint that much either. If anyone reads this from the resort, get rid of that vile woman she is destroying your business, just look how she made me feel to write this 4 days after my trip there. I would happily discuss this experience...
Read moreMy boyfriend and I were visiting BC and the whole 2 weeks he's been hoping to see grizzly bears 🐻! Once we found about this place we knew we had to come. We hiked the intense trail (staircase up 1300 meters) to the summit (its free to hike up but if you decide to take the skytrain it costs). For those considering the hike, it's difficult but entirely worth it although, I would not recommend the hike for those who do not like the stairmaster! We ended up taking the skate ainsi down after our visit ($20/person). We reached the summit and visited the grizzly bears. They're quite visible and will come up to the fence. They are shy however, and they left after someone had thrown a rock at one of them (dont hurt them please!!). Entirely worth it. For those interested in the Capilano Bridge, consider making it a day trip because both attractions are located 10 minutes from one another. Awesome place, entirely wholesome! The bears are bigger than...
Read more🐻 The Grizzly Bear Habitat at Grouse Mountain is a must-visit for kids and families. Seeing these incredible animals up close is an unforgettable experience and a great way to learn about wildlife in a safe environment.
🌲 The habitat is well designed, and the staff share helpful information that makes the visit educational as well as exciting. Along with the bears, there are plenty of other activities around Grouse Mountain that keep the whole family entertained.
💲 The only downside is that the tickets can be quite expensive, especially if you are visiting with a large family. However, the experience is unique and memorable, which makes it worthwhile at least once.
Highly recommended if you are visiting Grouse Mountain with children or if you love wildlife.
