Found 2 hour parking on MacKay Avenue, but there is proper park parking (3 hour) off Hamilton Avenue. We did the circular walk starting from Marine Drive and MacKay Avenue. There are washrooms (more for the playground I assume). After the first bridge you can go left or right. The path goes as far as Heywood Field then circles back. An easy walk about 20-25 minutes with a lot of small elevation changes and steps. If you want a longer workout, last time we exited up at West 23 Street and walked west to the Upper levels Highway pedestrian bridge. North on Pemberton Avenue, back on the trial, turned east onto the bridge across MacKay Creek. The up a long flight of stairs that exited on Crescentview Drive and into Edgemont Village. After a sandwich and bakery break, we headed back down Edgemont Boulevard/Fell Avenue to Marine Drive. That walk took us about 2 hours. I would recommend it to see more of the creek and the village. MacKay Creek Greenbelt has distance options and a variety of terrain, and the park for the kids. As well, I have to say it, it is close to Olives On Tap and Bad Dog...
Read moreThis is an oasis that is so gorgeous to walk through parks keep it so clean the courts are so deep in the forest you can't see nor hear the traffic this a place you'd want to be in a snow storm on a early evening walk in dec/Jan on the lit path way with the low lighting is gorgeous you ought walk it at night very safe place at night other than maybe seeing a bear making its way to the ocean down the green way for a salt intake but don't let that stop you cause there's probably less than 1% of you meeting a bear there .Why I'm saying this is cause the place just feels like a corridor for wild life to walk freely from the mountains to the ocean unhindered unmolested by people, the city and all the cars and trucks that drives these roads of north vancouver...
