Rocky Mountain Chocolate — Local services in District of North Vancouver

Would like to share my experience during my recent visit to your store on Thursday Apr 20 at around 5:40pm. Despite being a regular customer for Rocky Mountain, my experience on this occasion was extremely disappointing.

Firstly, the staff member who served me was unfriendly and unwelcoming. Not only she did not say Hello when a customer walks into the store, she appeared disinterested in assisting me with my purchase.

I asked for two caramel apples and she immediately bagged the apple without asking me if I need it cut. I told her I need the apples to be cut, she got angry and throw the apple back to her cutting board and tearing the plastic package open in a very aggressive (and annoyed) way. She took the first apple out and cut it and throw the second apple aggressively into the garbage because she was not able to take the apple out.

I left the store without any thank you or good bye from your clerk. The girl was just so angry - she obviously did not want to be there at all.

Furthermore, the quality of the products that I purchased was not up to the usual standard. The paper that was used to wrap the caramel apple was sticking all over - unlike a baking paper, where you can easily peel it off the caramel (see picture). Moreover, the silver print on the paper sticks on the caramel, not even sure if that silver print is even safe to eat?!

The chocolate in the place is excellent. We ordered icecream and it had a gritty texture to it and wasn't pleasant. We took it back and they told us we could not be refunded because of the debit card. Which is odd because it there was no trouble paying with it.
