Myrtle Park — Attraction in District of North Vancouver

Used to be a really nice park that was well used by the community. Now, it's ugly and unwelcoming with so many fences that it feels more like a prison yard than a neighborhood park. All that's missing are the guard towers.

The dog park has no benches, or shade, or dog watering facilities. It's a dust bowl in the summer and a mud pit in the winter. Pretty sad overall.

This is a great park for numerous activities: playground, swings, dirt field, baseball field, water/splash park, little river, bathrooms, and trails. A fabulous little forest in the heart of Deep Cove. At the periphery of the park on one side is a great enclosed dog run and on the other side, a playground and water park for kids.
