Deep Cove Pizza in Deep Cove left quite the impression on my taste buds. I opted for the small Romano pizza, and it was a flavor-packed experience from the first bite to the last. The cheese was absolutely phenomenal—rich, stretchy, and indulgent, with a quality that elevated the entire pizza. It’s the kind of cheese that makes you pause for a moment just to appreciate its depth of flavor. The dough had that perfect balance of lightness and chewiness, while the crust was a delightful mix of crisp and soft, showcasing their attention to quality. Now, let’s talk about the grease—it was definitely there, enough to leave a bit of a trail down my hand with each slice. Though it was on the greasier side, it didn’t overpower the taste or enjoyment of the pizza itself. In fact, it added that classic, indulgent quality that sometimes just hits the spot. Each bite was a delicious mix of flavors and textures that felt authentically handcrafted. The charm of Deep Cove Pizza isn't just in the toppings but also in the dough itself—there's an artisan touch that gives it that homemade feel, which is something you just don’t get from chain restaurants. If you're in Deep Cove and craving a good slice, this place will definitely satisfy. Just be sure to have a napkin handy!

Deep Cove and the old Colloseum pizza have been my favorite pizza place for years. I would describe it as kind of a Sicilian / Greek hybrid with a nice bready crust. The toppings are fresh and the quality is high. I have had many pizzas across the world including some of the highest rated hole in the walls in Italy - Naples, Rome etc and I always come back here. I order the same Margherita and Funghi every time. I can understand people might get upset at the price, or that it's not the type of "pizza" they are expecting or looking for. If you are looking for North American meat lovers slop with 20 toppings, or a Neopolitan floury thin crust, this is not for you. These are very minimalist pies with high quality ingredients, all about the dough with a perfect medium thickness crunchy bready crust.

Deep Cove pizza has amazing pies - probably my favorite in the area by far. Super fresh ingredients. Yes, it's expensive, and yes, it's worth it. Just look at the pizza below! Highly recommend. HOWEVER. A word to the wise (which is why I have removed a star): If you're ordering by the slice, they routinely try to serve you yesterday's pizza. They'll even sprinkle on some "fresh" cheese, before they reheat it in the oven. It's very conspicuous and can be seen by the naked eye, so inspect your slice. Owners - if you're reading this. Please stop this practice at once. You risk ruining your great reputation as many tourists will order by the slice and likely won't return.

Dear owner, I have visited your pizza place with my friend and we had a nice little talk today You are very friendly and nice But please pay attention to my review and to other people’s reviews. Something needs to be done or your business won’t last for long I don’t like putting negative reviews on google since I know the affect (I’m a business owner)

The first problem is the price You are way to expensive!!! I ordered a large cheese with black olives and mushrooms and we paid over $30 for it, yes I do understand that you are in a popular touristy area and summer time is the time to make money But I think it is way too much (not only me according to your recent reviews)

The second problem unfortunately is the pizza It is simply not good and not properly made (I’ve been working in a few pizza places before) I am %100 sure you do it with all your heart, But I am sorry to tell you that is not good (again I am not the only person saying this according to the previous reviews)

I will hardly suggest you to either hire someone that knows how to make a good pizza or please learn how to make a proper pizza I am sure it will bring you more customers and you will be able to lower the price by getting more and more customers.

Hopefully my review makes a change and not just being another negative review to...

I have been a loyal customer of this pizza place for almost 20 years, driving 40 minutes each way to support their business. However, my recent experience was beyond disappointing. I ordered several pizzas that were completely inedible—the dough was terrible, thick in some places, and the vegetables and cheese were overcooked to the point of being ruined.

When I contacted the restaurant to address the issue, instead of showing any appreciation for my long-standing loyalty or making things right, the owner dismissed my concerns and said, “If you don’t like how our pizza is, this isn’t the place for you.” This level of disrespect and lack of accountability from a business owner is unacceptable, especially after spending over $200 on food that had to be thrown out.

I’ve never encountered such unprofessional customer service. A good business knows how to value its customers and handle complaints with care and respect. This pizza place has clearly lost its standards over the years.

I would not recommend this place to anyone. Save yourself the money, time, and frustration and find a pizza spot that actually appreciates its customers and serves...
