A big pet peeve of mine is someone talking to me like what they’re saying should be obvious just because it is to them. I normally give fast-food workers the benefit of the doubt by assuming they’re having a rough day because it’s a poor paying but demanding industry. I made a mobile order this morning and thought the point of doing it ahead of time was so that I didn’t have to order when I got there. I drove to the window and a black woman with braids in a pony tail, who looked absolutely miserable, condescendingly told me I had to come in when I said pick-up. When I said no I ordered for the drive-thru she again condescendingly asked "you mean a mobile order?" I’m in a car…I don’t think it’s that confusing. If I had ordered for pick-up by mistake could you not grab it from the counter? I said yes and she and an Asian woman made eye contact like this was a problem they’d never encountered before and again she condescendingly told me I was supposed to stop at the drive-thru menu/ordering speaker to let them know because the ice in my drink could melt. Conveniently, my drink was handed to me immediately after this conversation which would have been the same amount of time it took me to stop and let them know. I wouldn’t have an issue being told this if the whole thing wasn’t said to me with an attitude and like I’m an idiot for not knowing this one time. It’s also such a minor inconvenience that I cannot understand the attitude or degree to which she responded.
Also, my English muffin wasn’t even toasted so I toasted it myself when I got home. I’ve been coming here awhile but I’m done. Lost a loyal customer for pickup and delivery. I’ll drive a little further to the Tim’s on 50th ST that actually has decaf espresso options and not just decaf drip coffee.
Ps. Why does everyone have to go to the Tim’s website to complain? It’s your restaurant. Take the criticism and do the work yourself. We already wasted our time...
Read moreMy girlfriend worked here. She quit within 2 weeks because of the work atmosphere. The workers are very unfriendly, they talk awfully about the customers. They're also very rude towards each other, and I'm told they know nothing of team cooperation. Very inconsiderate, mess up the orders all the time.
They also don't get paid to be trained, they're expected to do it on their own time. I get paid to be trained for my job. This is unethical and unfair.
They also drop the cups and the lids on the floor, instead of throwing them out they use them to serve the customers, they reuse the dirty cups they make different drinks with also. So the flavored syrups get mixed, making the drinks taste awful.
They make cold drinks, and if they mess up they'll leave the drink for hours until someone orders it, they will give them the hours old drink rather than serving the customer a freshly made cold drink.
With the lunch lady one time there was a sandwich made improper, the customer brought it back, the lunch lady let it sit for hours, and then eventually took the bagel sandwich apart and put it back in the ingredients rack to be reused. Absolutely disgusting. I have no idea how this place got their food permit, they should be shut down immediately.
This manager of tim hortons seriously needs to be retired and have a mulligan of employees. Absolutely terrible
None of them speak English very well, and they will be talking trash about the employees and the customers in their own language, this can be seen by the looks given by them.
The manager will never have someone of her own race to clean the timhortons either. I have had to wait there for hours sometimes to pick up my girlfriend, the philopeno manager will never have anyone who is philopeno cleaning, EVER. It always the other races cleaning.

Read moreI ordered from skip the dishes and skip is a scam if you don’t get what you ordered and you then go to chat to complain and get you money refunded the answer is a dead no, then I call the restaurant because I’ve had it with these scamming places and I’m done with poor poor poor customer service, and dumb people who can’t follow an order, so if you order an item and they don’t have said item well then they will send you whatever they want you to eat, yup they make the decision for you weather you like it or not and so I called Tim hortons at 7220-119 ave to complain to the manager and the manager on shift for April 20th @ 7 am goes to bring up my order because I also ordered a belt and this guy tells me that what I ordered does not come with an egg, now am I braindead or is this guy just a complete idiot, he then tells me a name that is not me and the dummy is looking at a different order, I then ask him why I was given 2 donuts that I did not order and if they did not have the items I ordered then just refund me my money instead of assuming you know what I like and the manager says go complain to skip and when I asked for a number for skip the dishes he tells me there is no more phone number to talk to someone and that’s that and I’m like no there has to be a number and he tells me well don’t you know how to google it, and rudely hangs up on me, this guy should be fired immediately like learn some customer service skills before you get any job buddy for next time, so it’s no wonder why this restaurant has really bad reviews yup a 3.2 now that’s pathetic, these people will take your money and if they mess up your order well then skip tells you to bad.
