In 2019 they had a delightful skating trail through the park, and they've had it for several Winters now. We went ice-skating there, and loved it. They have a fence all the way along it on one side, and there are Christmas lights and twinkly lights set up all the way along it as well.
In the summer it's a great park for the kids to play at, but the junior high nearby lets their gym classes come out everyday, so it can be a bit tricky taking young ones there during the school day. The youth are generally just fine, respectful and aware of the kids, but my kids were worried to go play on the equipment where the big kids were.
The spray park is perfect for toddlers! It's not as big and intense as other spray decks, so it doesn't always engage older kids...
Read moreA good mix for the playground. An area with higher equipment, and also a separate younger kid playground close enough you can watch kids on both at the same time. The littler playground has great shorter money bars, perfect for shorter kids who want to try. There is also a splash pad to use in the summer. It's pretty basic but enough to have fun in a hot day. A new picnic shelter was set up with tables underneath, perfect to get out of the sun. In winter there is a hockey rink and additionally an ice skating trail. Great if you want to skate but bored of going round in circles dodging...
Read moreGreat park! Has a spray park and lots of toys for the kiddies to play on. Only complaint is the metal slides. Not well placed so they aren't shaded well by the surrounding treed around mid day....and in the summer, well....let's just say my husband had to PEEL a screaming child off it last summer. Luckily no real damage was done but it could've been worse.
