My family rented their C Hall for an event which was suppose to run until 12midnight. The hall only rents until 10pm but we paid extra to extend the event on a Saturday night. Hall manager informed our Dj that he has to turn down the music by shortly aftr 10pm. She said a hotel guest frm 3rd floor complained and handed our Dj a threatening letter saying that the music was too loud and that he has to turn it down or he could get a ticket for the noise violation. During this time,the dance floor was full and guests are having a great time. Here are some facts: speakers are only on one corner of the hall which keeps the music to minimum level. Doors closed you cant even hear the music frm the hallway or the front desk of the hotel. Halfway thru the rented wall,the music is muffled and low. Another fact; nothing in our lease contract that says,that noise bylaw applies as they are a hall/ hotel..(this was confirmed by night manager and servers says they do this to weddings to who rented the hall they worked) Fact: the main hall manager was there in the morning when we are doing sound check and no such thing was mentioned during signing of lease or we wouldnt have extend the party hours and Pay extra for the extra 2hrs rental..OR we could have been told to keep the sound at certain decibel during sound check. Manager even let some people in the hall to show hall to potential renters while we were setting up without our knowledge. No apology or courtesy heads up for the intrusion. Night manager never asked for my sister who rented the hall before advising the dj. This incident completely ruin the mood and momentum of the party that guests started leaving as they thought we got in troible amd put us on an awkward position. One would think that renting a hall,1.)a place would sound proof the hall. 2.)avoid booking on next floor of they think that sound would be disruptive 3.)If there was a complain,they could have warn the guest that complain that the event has another hour left and if they could be more patient and apologized bu giving some complimentary breakfast as an apology..Just my suggestions on how this situation could have been avoided and keep everyone happy. I would never recommend this place for any event unless its for a prayer meeting as they will just ruin the evening as they completely handled the situation so poorly.. Dinner was very slow and started very late as well which made the dancing part later. They were suppose to serve dinner while the video presentation was being presented but Nope,they waited until it ended. Coordination of meals were poorly executed. Pasta was very sour and under cooked. Cheesecake dessert was great except few had stomach ache aftr. Servers were great tho. Sadly,our concerns were just brushed off and refusal of refund Not even for extra hour rental of the hall,extra hour rental of the Dj for ending our party early due to their poor handling of this situation. Party was ruined and the situation became the talk of the town for the community instead of the beautiful event we prepared for months. No empathy,no apology and barely heard our grievance. You've lost great clients and the filipino /latin community coz we will be making sure our friend Never rent your place for any event due to how poorly you handled this situation.

June24/23 Dear joseph, My sister spoke to the manager that evening in which she had no clue how to handle the situation, she also spoke to the other manager the next day on which we were just dismissed as "no refund for last 2 hrs of ur rental,not much of an apology." They tried giving her voucher at ur restaurant for 2..Noone wanted it as this situation left a bad taste for us to try yoyr place again... btw they also rented a room for the night too ,in which none of the family wanted to stay due to how this night ended. Why wait for a bad google review before attempting to make it right? Your lucky that not everyone of us(150guests) wrote a review. *Sigh ,this still upsets me as we spend alot of money on this event.
