This chocolate is incredible. It was so good, I literally cried while eating it. I’m not even kidding. That may sound dramatic, but you have to understand the context. Let me set the scene; I first discovered this chocolate on TikTok (as I’m sure many others have). I was captivated. I watched every video. I imagined holding one of the chocolate bars myself, seeing them in real life, being so honoured to try one. But, it was July. I was scared to order it and have it arrive in a delicious puddle. So I waited. And waited. But I never forgot. Finally, in October, I figured it was safe. We are in Canada after all. I placed my order, and since it was a pre-order, the estimated wait was 25 days (I think. It’s been a while now), which didn’t bother me at all, because it was very clearly communicated on the website and in my confirmation email. We love a company that communicates!! That is Excellent Customer Service already!! So I waited some more. And then it shipped after only 15 days!! I was so excited!! I tracked it obsessively!! Finally the day arrived; it was out for delivery. I waited and waited, but could only wait until 4pm when I had to leave for work. It hadn’t arrived yet. Of course, 2 minutes after I got on the bus I got the notification that it was left in my backyard. So I had to wait some more! I thought about that chocolate all night, my entire shift. Finally, 11pm came and it was time to go home. I told myself midnight was too late to eat a whole chocolate bar, especially these ones, they are absolutely massive!!!!!! Huge!!!!! So thick!!!!!!! I would never get to sleep if I ate them now! But I wouldn’t sleep if I didn’t get to at least try them either. So, I took one bite of each… and omg. Totally worth every second of waiting. Incredible. Delicious. Amazing. Every synonym you can think of. My eyes welled up with tears. They were perfect. Everything I dreamed of back in July. The TikTok videos don’t lie. I considered moving to Hamilton so I could go to the store every day. (I still haven’t ruled that out. Are you guys hiring?? You can pay me in chocolate!!) I’m sure I dreamed about them too, but I don’t remember. It was months ago now.
If you are hesitant to buy from here for any reason, DON’T BE!!!!! They are worth every penny, and every moment you spend waiting!!!!!! They are as delicious as you think!!!!!!!! The only 100% real, no filter thing you ever will see on TikTok!!!!!! BUY THE CHOCOLATE!!!!!!! Maybe they will make you cry too!! But...
Read moreI’d honestly like to address the person who reviewed this place 2 days ago, so I have no relation or do I even know anyone who works here or the owner, I’ve only actually been here 3 times after my girlfriend kept talking about this place from TikTok, and I hate reviews like that, they aren’t genuine, 1 big reason is you’d give it a 0/10 because idk about you but I review everything and giving something a 0 means the staff was horrible, place was gross, and the product is vomit worthy, and from my experience I’ve had not just the best chocolate bar of my life that I still dream about, it was a banana cream chocolate bar, and it was no joke the best sweet treat I’ve ever had, yes from a outside perspective $32 does seem like a lot, don’t get me wrong when I paid $60 for 2 chocolate bars I had that thought of what did I just do, I spent this much money on chocolate bars, one for me and one for my girlfriend, (side note sometimes they have partially broken ones for cheaper thats why I paid around $60) but besides biting into the what was the most perfect, thick, gooey and flavourful chocolate bar I’ve ever sinked my teeth into, I was so amazed at how good it was that I shared with everyone who went with me, and when I gave my girlfriend her chocolate I’ve never seen her so excited for something, and I would pay that again just to see her that excited again, but it didn’t end there, when she bit into that chocolate bar I swear to god this women shook with excitement it tasted just as good as it looked, and if you’ve never seen it in person it’s a work of art, and she also didn’t stop with shaking, she made up a dance from how good it was, and this whole chocolate bar fed my whole family, because it’s so rich in flavourful you don’t need to eat the whole thing, my gf stretched it out to 4 days, so it’s not a normal chocolate bar, these people put their heart and soul into these products, and they’re not looking to be rich, they just want to put out the best products they can as affordable as they can possibly make it without losing a bunch of money, I sincerely wish this shop the best, thank you so much for treating the people who love your shop with so much...

Re: “we offered many solutions…” first, telling me I could pick up my order was not a solution. Second, I did not ask for you to be open on Christmas Day. You offered, likely because you had many other people who wouldn’t have their Christmas gifts on time. Unfortunately that two hour window you offered did not work for me, since it was Christmas Day. other than my initial request of the 17th, I simply wanted my items to be done before Christmas, but was advised after closing on Christmas Eve that it was ready. I’m not sure how you can have a preorder of a HOLIDAY item not ready in time for the holiday. When you saw my initial request, I should have been contacted to let me know it couldn’t be done, and see what we could do to get it done closer to my requested date, whether that’s removing a preorder item or canceling the order. I had to reach out to YOU multiple times when the requested date had come and gone. I was initially met with being ignored, then rudeness telling me you couldn’t have these chocolate bars ready “in a couple hours”…when obviously that wasn’t my request. I was just hoping it wouldn’t take 3 weeks.
Yes. You make cool looking chocolate. But you need to step up your business knowledge, specifically your customer service. There is clear evidence of this by looking at every one of your google business review replies to people who are just offering constructive feedback.
Re: “I hope you can find a chocolate you love in this city”, I’d choose a Kit Kat from a local corner store over your chocolate. At then least I’m not paying a high price tag to receive multiple condescending emails for something I won’t receive for a month. And it would taste just as ”meh”.
Original review: I really wanted to love these. But with the poor customer service and a “meh” product, I won’t be ordering...
