Bluebird Beach Park - South Beach Access — Attraction in Kelowna

First visit: This was our first family picnic this year! Great little beach area with shade trees and picnic tables. My only zonk is that the parking lot can hold maybe five vehicles, then it's street parking, which can be dangerous with the amount of traffic going by (watch your kids!). This is a beautiful little beach with great sand and easy access to the lake. A few picnic tables and some nice shade trees offer a relaxing area onshore. The designated swimming area is small but adequate and deep enough quickly to get some good laps in. The biggest drawback is parking with only enough for a few cars off street. Nice little beach access. Lots of shade with trees close to the water. Only bathroom is outhouse near the road. Parking lot is small, but street parking is available. Only downside to the street parking, the street is very busy, luckily it is a fair distance from the beach itself so I wasn't worried about the kids...
