BEWARE Just visited this store and had an eye-opening experience. I have been a regular customer here, but today was a special instance. My wife purchased some groceries and headed out of the store with me waiting for her in the car. Usually, we do not go through the bill, but today, she was just having a glance, and there it was. She bought 3 pieces of carrot, and it was billed $14.46. Right away, she re-entered into the store to return it and was told that it was a mistake and the price was for pumpkin. She again came to the car to take the pumpkin and return it. To which the cashier said, "that's what I was saying before, that there is a mistake and I would be returning $10". However, he never clearly said that. Had my wife not returned the second time to return the pumpkin, we would have been duped of $10, which is not a small amount.
We decided that from now on, we would always check the bill, no matter what. I would request each person reading this review to always check the bill. I understand that the cashier at the POS is a person, and mistakes can happen, but facing this at the very first instance when we checked the bill seems too good to be a coincidence.
I am not rating the store to minimum, as they do have a lot of Indian items that are not easily available, and before this, I never had a bad experience...
Read moreThis store is not well managed. Price labels for many items are not displayed. Only way is to go to cashier counter and confirm. For the items which has labels, are placed at different location.
They have points collection rewards system. For each $ spent you get equivalent points. What they do is if you puchase something of value lets say 8.55, they count your point as 8 only. Not single time but all the time. I pointed once to cashier(who seemed to be owner as well) as well for item purchased of value $13.99 she counted only 13. She didn't make any changes but just said yes.
Maybe store has earned well enough and don't care for customer. Other super market(near fairview mall) is fair in points calculations and bit well organized...
Read moreI had bad experience at this store. It’s really not that bad experience but I would to inform. So, that it might come into notice. When I shopped there I purchased some things along with kanthil which is $2.99 product when I went home I realized it was not in the bag. Maybe she forgot to put I thought. So, on my next visit when I went for grocery purchase I just informed the cashier (girl) at the counter the way cashier (girl) answered wasn’t polite and this is not about the missing product or money. Even not getting the product back was completely fine. It’s just about the way she responded back for the situation. No one is here to steal small kanthil of $2.89. Very bad...
