I work accross the way at maurices and often go to this location when on shift. I usually get a small container of meat and turnips,i have been doing this since they opened. I went there today as i brought a green salad from home to have for lunch while on shift at maurices and i was greeted by a young man ive never seen before. I told him what i wanted snd it SEEMED that there eouldnt be an issue as when i eas explaining to him whatvinwanted he knoded snd finished my dentence for me. He then said, ee dont do thst snd the only option was to get a BIG container of the iptions thst included items i didnt want. Im not sure when or why they changed their policy of not givong PAYING customer otter options to with make their own platter like they used to and have a price point to coinside. I was looking very much forward to the day and my lunch. Its sad that companies care more about making money that loosing customers..i guess theyll jist keep ripping others who choose to go to make up for the lack in sales. I willll NEVER go...

If I could give zero stars, I would. I rarely leave bad reviews, but my experience at I Shawarma was beyond unacceptable.
To begin with, the bread was hard as an iron board – impossible to chew and clearly stale. The hummus tasted terrible, completely off – like it had been sitting out for days. But the worst part? I found a strand of hair in my shawarma. Disgusting and unacceptable for any food establishment.
When I brought it to their attention, the manager was extremely rude, dismissive, and flat out refused to acknowledge the mistake. The staff backed him up and showed zero accountability. Not even an apology. No refund. No courtesy. Just attitude.
If you care about hygiene, basic decency, or edible food – avoid this place at all costs. There are far better shawarma joints around that at least respect their customers and serve clean food. This was hands down the worst dining experience I’ve had in...

I had a very disappointing experience at iShawarma in Kitchener. I ordered a falafel shawarma, but the cashier got my order wrong. When I asked for a receipt, she got irritated and said the machine wasn’t working and that the owner had to reset the system. After some back and forth, she finally gave me the receipt.
She seemed rushed while preparing my food, and unfortunately, it was served cold. I asked her to heat it up more in the toaster, but even after that, the food had no taste. To make matters worse, she told me that dine-in was closing at 9:30 PM, even though the sign outside clearly stated a 10:00 PM closing time.
Overall, the service was unfriendly, and the food was disappointing. I would not recommend this location and won’t be coming back. There are better shawarma places in Kitchener that value their customers and serve fresh, properly...
