Wild Wing — Restaurant in Kitchener

Came here tonight January 6th 2024, with my husband. We ordered two ceasars then two appetizers if jalapeño poppers and loaded skins. Then 2 lbs of boneless wings and fries for my partner and a lb bone in and Caesar salad for me. The server brought our appetizers first then two side plates and two forks lol no knife at all given to either one of us…. So I guess your suppose to use your fingers and bite into it having the boiling hot insides exploding into your mouth and hey who needs to use the sour cream that they give you, so ya a knife would have been nice. Then the wings came and my salad…. There was sooooooo much sauce in the salad that is was absolutely disgusting and soggy due to the fact that there was more dressing then there was salad. My bone in wings I hit two flats then the rest were so enormous that they weren’t even cooked through so needless to say I sat there and watched my husband eat. The server came and asked if we wanted boxes and I told her for my husband only that my wings were raw and the salad was drowning in dressing and they I wasn’t happy what so ever with my meal….. all she said to me was “ oh really”. She left then dropped off three boxes ( not sure why we needed that many…. And she dropped the bill and walked away. I looked at the bill and it was 108.75 and I was still charged full price for undercooked wings that stays on the table and for the upgrade of Caesar salad slwhich again I couldn’t eat. Totally disgusting and first time in my life that I didn’t leave a 20% tip. She only got 1.25 due to the fact that I didn’t have 3.75 in change to give the exact amount of the bill. I’m sorry but my meal should have been taken off as u could clearly see that i only ate one wing (count the bone), and the salad was still a fill side. Never again will I come here and maybe tell your servers that knives should be...

Wow, I just had one of the worst customer service experiences. I was shocked at the audacity of this server. I ordered takeout online at 1:25 p.m. the the app said it would be ready at 1:50 p.m. which is already a pretty long wait but okay, then I got there at 1:40 p.m. hoping it might be ready early. It wasn't, okay no problem. I'll wait... My food did not come out until 2:05 p.m. I simply asked the server, "It seems like they don't start cooking until you arrive. Is that true??" I wanted to know so that next time I don't wait until the pickup time of 1:50 p.m. and that I should just arrive early and put my order in and then wait, If I'm going to end up waiting anyway, makes sense to me. The server gave an excuse that they were busy. I mumbled under my breath that it didn't look that busy. There were only two or three tables with people, however, I neglected to think that there may have been a lot of takeout also she was the only server in the whole restaurant. The server was immediately pissed and said "you don't know how busy it is". Fair enough. I was about to say. "You're right, my apologies" but she didn't give me a chance to say that she put her hand in my face as in ("talk to the hand", the old expression lol) and said I'm not talking to you anymore. I'm done with you and she walked away. I was shocked. I couldn't believe that she would have treated a customer that way. Unfortunately I am done and will never return to this restaurant as long as that server is working. It's unfortunate because I was thinking about organizing a huge event there (I am a meetup organizer) and I would have brought a large group of people there but I will not be doing that anymore. The food was delicious as expected, which makes it more unfortunate that I won't be returning due...

My family and I came here for the first time last weekend. Food was fantastic, lots of choices and variety! And absolutely delicious wings! Loved that we could choose between breaded unbreaded and boneless wings. They even let me order all flats as I dislike drum wings, and many other restaurants do not have the patience to allow their customers to be so picky. My only con out of a list of pros is that there was no Mac n Cheese available from the children’s menu and I think they would benefit from adding a tap or two of some local craft beer. My family and I were greeted immediately by a friendly server and and our server was absolutely fantastic and I think she was what made our experience worth writing a review about ! Samantha went above and beyond to interact with my 3 year old daughter (she even came over with a colouring book and stickers at one point when my daughter began to get impatient and fuss and kept her occupied with things when she could so that the adults could finish their meal in peace. Which is beyond her role and job to wait on us!) she was friendly, and fast and made sure we felt welcome and not just another guest walking through their doors. All of her recommendations based on our likes and dislikes were down to a T and she did not seem to mind that we took our time looking through the menu and asking her questions. We felt comfortable and welcome. This will definitely not be our last time visiting and we look forward to dining here again with friends and family.
