I recently visited the ice cream shop in the West Shore and had a delightful experience. The taste was good; I got the chocolate truffle, which was very good. The best part was the waffles, which were freshly made in the store. As soon as you enter, you are greeted by the wonderful aroma of waffles and cookies.

While I did expect more options for ice cream, the available choices were satisfactory. The kids’ scoop was great; we got the Nerds flavor, which was tasty and fun for the little ones. The staff were energetic and nice, making the visit even more pleasant.

There were some chairs inside and also outside to sit and enjoy the ice cream, providing a comfortable spot for everyone. Parking was not an issue at all, with plenty of parking lots available in the plaza.

Overall, it’s nice to have a good ice cream shop in the West Shore. Despite the limited selection, the quality of the ice cream and the warm, inviting atmosphere make it a place worth visiting. I would highly recommend this shop for anyone looking to enjoy a sweet treat. It’s a great addition to the community, offering delicious ice cream and a friendly...

The original location is the best (my favorite local icecream). This new location lacks most of what makes the original amazing. The interior space is void of any small business charm and cuteness - instead looks like a large franchise box. The quality of ice cream was very different on the day I had it. The vegan ice cream wasn’t as thick and velvet… ordering style is opposite to what Parachute has always done in their original. In this location you need to pay first for your size. Then when you approach the scoopers, they will ask you again what you want. There is no communication of your purchase. In the original location, you first tell them what you want, they scoop it, then they tell the cashier (while holding your icecream) it’s a small change, but makes a big personal impact on customer experience.

I’ll revisit at a later time and change my review if this was a one off...

Been going here since opening, absolutely love the ice cream and all the fun different flavours, it’s been my go to place to get a treat for a while, always had great service until recently.

The past three times we have visited in the past 5ish months we’ve been helped by a girl with a quite awfully bitter attitude. Her lack of a welcoming smile or even a polite greeting set the tone for the entire interaction. She basically scoffs at you when you ask to try a flavour, doesn’t give you any time to look at the ice cream flavours without glaring at you with intimidation. Almost feel judged for coming to the store.

Getting ice cream is a treat obviously and having a worker not being upbeat and friendly at all, really brings down the mood of the place.

Hopefully there can be some difference in the presence of the store soon as it truly does have the best ice...
