A very awful "mall". My partner & I went two Saturdays ago, August 25th, because we thought the Aquarium fish pet shop was opened. We couldn't tell if the mall was in the middle of renovations, or it was just opening, or slowly being torn down. We hope it's going out of business. There's hardly any shops. The odd eatery looks dark, empty, and dirty. Worst of all, at one point I stopped to use the washroom & my partner sat on a chair conveniently placed beside the washrooms. When I came out , a tall, brown skinned security guard yelled at us, saying we weren't allowed to sit in the chair & threatened us; saying there was a camera filming us. I immediately asked him what his problem was, what was it it that we had done wrong. When he insisted I demanded his name and a number to call to complaint, he refused, saying nothing was wrong suddenly. I'll add he was slightly tall, thin build, could have been middle eastern or Filipino, mid thirties to forties, black hair with a slight residing hair line. Just in case anyone happens to bump into this miserable man who think's his security vest allows him to treat people like garbage. Yeah, I'm never going to this mall again. Based on how it looks, it would not surprise me, and I really do hope it is going out...
Read moreThe majority customers of this Centre is Chinese. It houses more than 55 shops providing a wide variety of products/services to meet your daily necessities needs. The popular and familiar shops include Bank of Montreal, Dollarama, Shoppers Drug Mart, Sunfood Supermarket, Chef 88 Elite Chinese Restaurant, One's Better Living, etc. My impression is that its venue is rather new (perhaps, it has been renovated), bright, spacious and clean. You will feel relaxed in shopping around. As there are a well known restaurant and a large supermarket, it attracts a large number of customers, even during the weekdays. Fortunately, its parking lot is large enough to accomodate the demands. Other than dim sum and buying groceries, my wife and I like to visit this center for purchasing household items. It can barely find in other Chinese shopping centres which housed quite a number of homeware shops there. Thus, you have many choices for the household items with competitive prices. BTW, I didn't observe that the Centre has implemented strict measures to combat COVID 19. You should be aware and careful...
Read moreBeen coming to this plaza/mall for more than 10 years now. Before the renovation, the mall didn't look good, it looked like a very dirty and cheap Chinatown. There were what we call "illegal" looking food restaurant stands against the wall. And everything was really dirty. After the renovation happened, the mall got cleaner, looked cleaner and looked modern/updated. The washrooms look better too.
The mall got better after the renovation and then covid murdered it for some time. But it's coming back now. The supermarket changed names multiple times. Many stores inside the mall open and close down real fast. Some stores stay the same for a very long time.
Overall the mall has gotten a bit more alive and at least looks busy on the weekends. The supermarket is great for its sales and deals. There are yummy restaurants and bakery inside the mall. There are stores that sell electronics, clothes, snacks, and...
