Markham Town Square — Attraction in Markham

Different types of businesses including banks, restaurants and fast food restaurants. Some parking areas are small and busy, especially the McDonald's area, and hard to move around. Very busy at certain times of each day of the week.

There's Shoppers drug Mart, has photo service in printed copies and/or digital, which has NO CANADA POST as another store, near No Frills, called Town Gifts has Canada Post there. Many question why no Canada post at Shoppers Drug Mart while pretty much every Shoppers Drug Mart has. There's no reason to have 2 Canada post at a single plaza.

Pizza Pizza is busy at lunch time as many students go there for takeout.

Coco and Wonton Hut are popular ones too.

The loss of its anchor tenant (Future Shop) was a huge impact to the plaza. However, with No Frills and McDonald's still in the plaza (in addition to the wide array of other small shops) the plaza is doing well. With the redevelopment of the hwy 7 corridor and the large residential area that surrounds it, the plaza is doing well. However, it will eventually need a makeover. We went to this area for some Felix and Norton cookies! A place we have been going to for a while now as their cookies are absolutely delicious! They have many types of containers from characterized tins to tin pots which you can fill with cookies and have a nice keepsake after.
