I ordered a pizza on the phone and the lady told me it will be ready in 20 min or it's free. I was two minutes early to pick up my order but I gave the cashier my name and phone number. She took another customer so by the time she was done I asked her if my order was ready. She looked around and couldn't find it so I waited a bit more. Then I told her my order has been longer than 20 min so is it free as per Pizza Pizza's policy. She ignored me at first and took other customers even though I was there before them. I asked again if my order was ready and she finally gave it to me and told me it was free. The guy who makes the pizza told her it's not free, he said that I gave the cashier wrong information even though I did not. He immediately took the pizza and told her I had to pay and to take other customers before me. I immediately called Pizza Pizza's customer service but they did not answer the phone. My husband came in and asked the cashier what is going on. She finally gave me my order but not before the pizza guy shouted out racial slurs to me. I asked him politely, what did you just call me? He said I was a f**g chinaman, and said it twice. I couldn't believe my ears because first of all, I am a woman, and secondly, he is also a racial minority. I have lived in Canada for over 50 years and never in my life has anyone ever called me something like that. I am proud to be Canadian and respect all types of cultures. I am shocked that this gentleman who works at 8601 Warden can talk to customers with such foul language. I know this is an isolated incident because I have frequented this store many many times in the past. I just hope other customers will never be subjected to this type of treatment. I believe respect goes both ways and this guy has a lot to learn if he plans on...
Read moreI've personally ordered from this Pizza Pizza location several times over the course of 1 year. I've made orders Online, Telephone, and In-person, and they have consistently gotten my order wrong on every occasion.
They have delivered Pizza with incorrect toppings on more than one occasion. Pizza Pizza enforces the correct delivery if they receive a complaint. There was one instance where the 1st replacement pizza was incorrect again, so they sent a 2nd replacement pizza within the course of 2 hours.
Example: Green peppers in lieu of olives, Cheddar Jalapeno dip in lieu of Sriracha Creamy Garlic, Bacon instead of Chicken (while entertaining people who do not eat pork)
I have ordered sides from this location on multiple occasions but consistently have received soggy onion rings, soggy fries, soggy chicken wings, etc. I've received soggy items via delivery and during pick-up.
I don't understand how they can deep fry the sogginess directly into the onion rings, but they have somehow found the perfect formula for a sub-par product.
I've spoken with a few different people in-person and have never had a positive experience ordering at this location. The evening people that I have encountered either aren't comfortable speaking English, aren't familiar with the menu, or want to rush you to get you out the door. I have spoken with 2 different people - an older man and a younger man. Neither were friendly during the interaction.
Unfortunately, I will probably order from this location again in a few months due to convenience - will update my review at that time. Hopefully with...
Read moreSecond time i've ordered here. I was hesitant to order again since the last time i ordered they made a mistake on my pizza when i asked for half without chilli flakes as my 4 year old at the time would be eating that half i got a pizza full of chilli flakes. As usually it would not be a big deal if it wasn't my child looking to eat it and seeing as this was supposed to be our dinner we had no other options. They offered to give me some money back or have another delivered the way i ordered. Of course i chose to have another delivered being my son had no food. Fast forward the delivery guy comes and shoves the pizza into my hands as if it was my problem they mistakened my order and he was obviously upset and walk off in a hurry. I said i wouldnt order again but today i did. Not sure if the person was the same or not but i did contactless delivery which implies it would be contactless since i paid online. Not only was it not, the drive knocked on the door, shoved a paper for me to sign right away and a pen which i promptly signed barely looking as i was kinda shocked. Then when i asked "isnt this supposed to be contactless?" He then told me " yes, i contacted you in the elevator for the buzzer." I have no idea what that meant but i just agreed"...okay. " and took the pizza. The pizza was good as to good as pizzapizza standards are but not sure if thus guy remembered me from before like 7-8 months ago when ge had to redeliver a pizza to me for their mistake and was still annoyed or he's just unfriendly altogether. Either way, their delivery drivers need some customer...
