Very quiet slow mall. Free mall WIFI HIT or Miss. Good eats are Chinese&japanese food $$, use to be Subway sandwiches but closed permanently. A nice well managed wimpy's resto$$$ Wholistic /chiropractic/ RMT Centre. A new liquidation outlet store opened called Bobbys outlet. ( Former Sears ) It's too quiet with slow convenient items of sale. Great buys f/ home /family apparel/ auto, etc. A smaller wellmanaged Shoppers drugmt. A couple of higher end women's apparel boutiques/men. A fresh vibrant affordable durable women/men's luggage purse wallet camping backpacks & travels; Bags&things boutique/outlet. ( I bought luggages purses wallet shopping cart ) Lazeez under new management. It serves fresh Mediterranean/ Iraqi / Pakistani good eats. Wish they have a weekly variety eg. Chinese have a various assortment of tasty dishes. Cleanly organized Food Basics grocer. Usual shoe $$$ combler sells fully qenuine leather belts & dry cleaners. $$$. Try to finish your day at The Cafe/ coffee shop. A really hospitable Filipina can whip up good eats from freshly made egg&ham sandwiches to affordable Asian meals for $3-8. Items Supplied from Cosco. Bubble teas provided ( let her know how tasty you would like it )

There will be redevelopment in the area. Soon Many New condos/apts. & newer mall in talks. They have a fairly strict Mall Security who doesn't allow rest&relaxation after closing hours. Everyone is quickly asked to pack up&leave the mall. Not very nice ending to shopping. The management should ask their security staff to be more easy going to shoppers' clients who spend their hard earned ??? At this mall. Hence, if people didn't spend their hard earned $$$$ at The Shoppes on Steeles, there wouldn't be security needed at...

We went for three days to Windemere House. It overlooks the Lake. Windemere is absolutely lovely, the gardens are beautiful. We were greeted by manager Andrew Fisher. He's a very special person. He arranged for a cot in our room to accommodate our granddaughter and a special chair in the large shower to accommodate me because I had a broken leg and can't get in or out of the bathtub. . Our room was perfect and had a wonderful balcony overlooking the Lake. My granddaughter, husband and I really enjoyed the balcony. I recommend that you book a room with a balcony. It's wonderful. The staff at Windemere were friendly and always willing to do anything to make our stay a pleasure. The windemere has kayaks and paddle boards at no charge and my granddaughter loved kayaking on the beautiful lake. The Windemere has two lovely outdoor restaurants overlooking the lake . We ate a delicious dinner at one and had coffee and appetizers on the other. My granddaughter and my husband enjoyed playing tennis. There's an outdoor pool which we didn't have time to try out swim as we preferred the lake. Our three days went by too quickly and we enjoyed every moment and can't wait to go back perhaps in the fall to experience the beauty of the changing leaves. It was our Anniversary during our stay and Andrew sent a variety of delicious chocolates to us. It was a lovely gesture and much appreciated. The Windemere is in the process of winterizing their Hotel. Andrew told us about the plans to make a winter holiday wonderful. This has been here a long time evne before i was born, great location near the highway.

There are offices for healthcare and others located on the upper level which is wheelchair accessible with elevators. Lottery ticket booth selling bus tickets. Stop by the well established asian restaurant kings wok house, family food and breakfast wimpy's diner, or the varied selection of cafe and restaurants within the mall. There is a nearby gas station and attached to the mall is an automotive mechanic that can change your oil and much more. A grocery store is in the mall not to mention Mens and Womens clothing and hairdresser, there is a Tailor/ Alterationist in this mall and a Bank. This mall changes frequently and changes selection of retailers to match the trend and demographic. There is seating in the food court and the general experience with parking and convenience...
