Swan Lake — Attraction in Markham

Swan Lake Park is a total gem and a real oasis tucked away in Markham. It’s a peaceful spot with a beautiful, easy-to-walk trail that circles the water, making it perfect for a quick jog or a relaxing evening stroll. Seeing the actual swans and the dozens of geese land on the water is a treat, especially if you have little ones. It really does feel calm, even though it's surrounded by the city. The main drawback is that it’s purely a "nature walk" kind of place. There are generally no public washroom facilities or dedicated parking lots—you have to park on a nearby street, which can be tough.
