Gem in the middle of the city! And it’s free! I’ve been going to this trail for over 10 years now and I never get tired of it. In the summer it’s just so beautiful it’s green there’s fresh air so many wonderful wildlife like Blue Jays Cardinals and squirrels for the kids and adults to observe. In the fall the trail becomes a very popular photo shoot spot because of the beautiful fall colours and it’s accessibility. It is a very easy trail for strollers as well as elderly. I brought my 96-year-old grandmother here and she had fun just sitting and observing the Canadian geese. The nice thing as it is free. It’s not part of the Halton parks, so you can just park and enjoy a few hours of wondering around inside the trails. I’ll say the trail inside is about 4 km at the most. There is an abandoned railway track in the centre for photo shoots, as well as just exploring for kids. There are some spots for sitting and some make do benches.
