UPDATE 1 : In response to the owner's reply. I didn't care to ask about names but I think a lady by the name of Nancy , if I remember correctly , . She is tall and slim. She introduced me to a man with a tattoo on his arm and wearing an earring on his left ear ( don't know if he is the owner or the store manager ). There was no invoice ... I took my pendants undone so I didn't pay.
On July 21 , 2022 , I took in 2 sterling silver pendants to have them cleaned and polished. I was told it would cost me $40 per piece " because it will take a week to get the job done " Both , the time frame and cost , sounded exaggerated to me but I agreed thinking they were professionals and would do a really exceptional job to take that long and cost that much. On July 28 , I called them to go pick up my pendants only to be told that they were still sitting in the outgoing drawer !!!!! " we had too many rush jobs that came in before yours but I can talk to the jeweler to see if we can do them instore and have them ready in a couple of hours "
Weren't you aware of the number of jobs you had ? If you did , why then tell me to pick them in a week ? If you didn't , then that's a disaster.
All of a sudden the job I was told would take a week and cost $80 could take 2 hours to finish ?!!!!!!!!!!! So you were ripping me off and lied about the time needed to get the job done.
In any case , I ended up buying a complete cleaning kit ; polishing cream ,cleaning solution and shining towels for $30. $30 for a kit I will be using for a very long time.
I did it myself and the pendants look as good as new

Read moreI went into Halton Hills Jewellery a couple weeks ago as my name plate necklace broke and was hoping to get it fixed. Firstly, if you are traveling with children with a stroller you can't get in. There is no ramp. I had to leave my stroller outside and carry my 1 year old to get inside. That's not really the issue at all. I was somewhat greeted by a woman who did not seem interested in helping me at all. I just wanted a quick quote on how much it would be to fix my necklace, she took my necklace to a man who in turn tells me how much he would charge and I said "it's okay I can buy another one for that price". In other words he was definitely over charging me. He in turn says "Oh I don't think you will get a necklace like this for that price!" in a very sarcastic and rude tone. I in fact DID get it for that price. The man was just plain rude and the lady was not much better. I have dealt with a few jewelers in my time and this was the worst service I have ever received. I left there feeling like I was spoken down to and for no reason at all. I would never recommend them to anyone and would most definitely never go back there again, I would rather travel into Mississauga or anywhere...
Read moreI walked into the store with a chain that was knotted. As soon as I walked in the door I was greeted as if I was an old friend. The girl at the front was so warm and inviting and when I explained my issue to her she said very pleasantly "Oh sure, we can fix that for you." She then delicately took my chain and laid it on a black velvet tray and carried it like it was a priceless artifact. She then took it to the jeweler (a man named Mike) and he had the knot out with in about 30 seconds. Mike brought my chain out to me and was so warm, friendly, professional and kind. The lady working, then helped me put my chain on and even expressed concern about the fact that its cold out and i didnt have a jacket. I highly recommend this jewelry store, just based on the level of respect they show for people and...
