The MacEwan Terrace Garden is a two-acre perennial garden that looks over the wetlands, grasses, white pine and spruce trees. The heritage gardens attract birds and butterflies. There are also heritage structures on site including the 1919 Chappell House, now home to the Riverwood Conservancy. Visit the Garden in May to enjoy the mass plantings of colourful spring bulbs in full bloom, including Crocus, tulips (Tulipa), and daffodils (Narcissus). In June, you’ll find a large tulip tree (Liriodendron) beside the Visual Arts Mississauga building blooming with remarkable yellow-green flowers. Read moreOh I totally like this place to walk around exploring flora and fauna within the city of Missisuaga.. it has multiple trails connected to each other next to a moving water stream where Multiple people are found to be fishing.
The main reason to come here is trek and watch fall colours on the whole path!
There is a map at the entrance to guide you although all treks connect at the end.
They also have ample of parking space even during the weekends. It is also wheelchair friendly. Watch out for birds, dead fishes and some beautiful pathways. Good for pre wedding...
